The 4-star MEERsicht apartment is located on the top floor of the Inselwind apartment building and offers a magnificent view over the meadows of the Mönchgut Peninsula and out onto the Baltic Sea.
The apartment is bright and inviting, furnished with modern, high-quality Scandinavian-style furniture, and offers plenty of space for two people across its 38 m². Underfloor heating ensures comfortable temperatures during the cooler months, while air conditioning keeps you cool in the summer. You can relax wonderfully on the comfortable couch in the living area and enjoy yourself with the large smart TV and free Wi-Fi. The living area features convertible windows. In no time at all, you can create a balcony-like rooftop space where you can enjoy your own little spot in the sun. The high-quality, open-concept kitchen-dining area, complete with a four-burner ceramic cooktop, oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, coffee maker, and electric kettle, offers everything you need for breakfast, lunch, and dinner together. The comfortable double bed in the separate bedroom offers the best in sleeping comfort.
The bathroom, which features natural light, has a walk-in shower, a sink, a toilet, a hair dryer, and a mirror. All skylights are equipped with insect screens and electric blackout blinds. You also have the option of using the two communal barbecue areas in the courtyard for social evenings.
A parking space is available for your car in the building’s private parking lot.

The Inselwind apartment building in Groß Zicker offers 22 state-of-the-art vacation apartments, each with a unique layout and design. The apartment building was completely renovated and reopened in 2020.

From the spacious vacation apartments on the upper and top floors, you’ll enjoy a breathtaking view of the Zicker Mountains and the Baltic Sea (Greifswalder Bodden). The peaceful location on the Mönchgut peninsula is just the right place to recharge your batteries for everyday life.

The traditional farming and fishing village of Groß Zicker nestles against the picturesque Zicker Mountains on one side, while the vast Baltic Sea lies on the other. The beauty of the setting is reflected in the village’s idyllic architecture. Many thatched-roof, traditional houses—lovingly restored—stand with their beautiful gardens on either side of the village street, which has retained its original character. A real eye-catcher is the historic parish widows’ house, a listed building with its magnificent flower garden. Built around 1700, it is the oldest residential building on the island of Rügen. For over 100 years, it served as a residence for parish widows, and later as a school building. Today, it is a popular museum and is used for small art exhibitions. After all these years, it is still owned by the church.
The village’s location at the foot of the Zicker Mountains is attractive to residents and vacationers alike. On long hikes through the mountains, you can enjoy new, breathtaking views of the mountains, the Baltic Sea, and Rügen’s Mönchgut Peninsula at almost every bend in the trail.
The expansive beach is only about 2 kilometers from the Inselwind apartment building. The beach is easily accessible by bike or car (parking available). Sunbathers, water lovers, sandcastle builders, and shell collectors will all find plenty to enjoy here. The fine-sand beach stretches for nearly 6 kilometers, from Lobbe to Thiessow.

Since spring 2021, the Inselwind apartment building has been home to De Wienkist “Flammkuchen & MEER.” Here you’ll find a small selection of German wines, delicious homemade Flammkuchen, Mediterranean dishes to pair with wine, as well as sodas and beer. Hours are daily from 12:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Here you can grab a bite to eat or wind down the day in a cozy atmosphere. During the summer months, De Wienkist offers live music to its guests.
