* INFO * Ulenhoef Vacation Rentals are located in a unique, quiet setting right next to the Darß Forest. We rent out 1 vacation home and 9 vacation apartments in Prerow on the Baltic Sea. Bedding is available for a fee for stays of 3 nights or more; please bring your own towels. The beach is just a few minutes away by bike. Our spacious property offers ideal conditions for guests seeking nature and tranquility on vacation. Watch deer from your room, listen to the songbirds, or the gentle rustling of the trees.

* As a former seafaring and fishing village, Prerow can look back on a tradition as a seaside resort spanning over 125 years. Thatched-roof houses with “Darß doors,” framed by soothing greenery, still define a large part of the town’s character today. An approximately 5-kilometer-long and up to 80-meter-wide, fine-grained, pebble-free sandy beach awaits you just northeast of town in the sheltered Prerow Bay, where the sun shines well into the evening hours. The primeval-like Darß Forest, located in the immediate vicinity of the Baltic Sea, offers approximately 50 kilometers of hiking, biking, horseback riding, and carriage routes. If you cross this forest heading west, you’ll reach the western beach—rugged and romantic, sculpted by wind and waves. Prerow itself offers small concerts, museums, and exhibitions, as well as doctors, supermarkets, a movie theater, playgrounds, and boat tours. It’s easy to explore neighboring towns like Zingst, Wieck, and Born by bike. By car, you can easily reach attractions such as the bird park, the strawberry farm, and the indoor swimming pool, or head to Stralsund or Rostock for shopping.

Ein niedliches kleines Häuschen

Die Unterkunft gefiel uns vom ersten Betreten an. Küche ausreichend ausgestattet, das Bad funktionell und hübsch eingerichtet, das Wohn- und die Schlafzimmer im Landhausstil eingerichtet. Einzig: Treppe und Obergeschoss knartzen ziemlich, was mit Kindern etwas unruhig ist, aber irgendwie machts das auch wieder urig :-) Wir würden wieder einkehren.

Gute Wahl trotz coronabedingten Problemen

Die Ferienwohnung entsprach den Aussagen im Internet. Alle Bedingungen, um ein gutes Wochenende zu verbringen, wurden erfüllt.
