Garden furniture, barbecue. Room cleaning weekly on request (extra). Stepped path (50 steps) to the house. Single garage. Shop 800 m, grocery 700 m, restaurant 100 m, bus stop 100 m, railway station "Villars" 1 km, thermal baths "Lavey-les Bains" 19 km. Golf course (18 hole) 7 km, mountain railway 1 km, gondola lift 500 m, ski bus stop 100 m, children's ski school 2 km. Please note: no lift. Free ski bus service to the ski region Villars.
"Chalet Les Rochers Blancs", 5-room chalet 125 m2 on 3 levels, south facing position. Comfortable and cosy furnishings: living/dining room with open-hearth fireplace, dining table and TV (flat screen). Exit to the terrace, south facing position. Kitchen (oven, dishwasher, 4 ceramic glass hob hotplates, toaster, kettle, microwave, electric coffee machine, Capsules for coffee machine (Nespresso) extra, raclette grill, fondue Set (chinoise, cheese)) with hatch. Bath/WC. Electric heating. On the lower ground floor: (steep stair) walk-through room with 1 bed (90 cm), 1 x 2 bunk beds (90 cm). Exit to the garden, south facing position. 1 room with 1 french bed (1 x 160 cm). Shower, sep. WC, Sauna. Electric heating. Upper floor: (steep stair) with sloping ceilings, 1 room, ceiling height 100 - 250 cm with 1 french bed (1 x 180 cm). Walk-through room, ceiling height 100 - 250 cm, without wardrobe with 1 sofabed (160 cm, length 200 cm). Large balcony 30 m2, south facing position, garden, south facing position. Terrace furniture, barbecue. Marvellous panoramic view of the mountains. Facilities: washing machine, dryer, sauna, children's high chair, baby cot, hair dryer, baby changing unit. Internet (WiFi, free). Parking (2 cars), garage (1 car). Please note: suitable for families. Non-smoking house.

The layout of the house is not comfortable. You need to go through one of the rooms and the laundry to get to the stairs to go up to the living room and kitchen. The bathroom is spilt, on part very far from the other. The top room is extremely hot and the bathroom is downstairs. The house didn’t even have toilet paper or trash bags. And at the end of your stay you need to clean and wash and store dishes, collect all linen, take trash to the city collection points, among other things, otherwise you get charged extra, so not sure why you pay a cleaning fee. Maybe this is a standard in Europe, but not in the Americas.

Parfait pour cet été caniculaire car le chalet reste bien frais! Rien ne manque à part peut-être un lecteur DVD qui permettrait de passer quelques films ou écouter notre musique. A deux pas de l'arrêt de bus, je recommande ce chalet sauf si vous avez des enfants de moins de 4 ans car comme bien indiqué dans le descriptif, les escaliers sont raides et étroits. Nous y avons passé d'excellentes vacances.

Chalet bien équipé et confortable. Très belle vue sur les montagnes et terrasses bien exposées. Navette au pied du chalet.
