We had a really nice stay overall. The home itself is very welcoming and comfortable, and you can tell it’s set up to be enjoyed. The yard and pool area are great for all ages—while the water was a bit chilly during our stay, the pool was very clean and well maintained.The location is a huge plus. Being so close to the Kemah Boardwalk was fantastic—there are so many options for both adults and kids, and plenty within easy walking distance.Bruce was very responsive and easy to communicate with, which we appreciated.The only downside was that the home wasn’t as clean as expected upon arrival—the kitchen appliances, bathroom, and floors needed attention. However, Bruce was quick to acknowledge the issue and worked with us to help resolve it.Overall, a great home in a fun location with a very attentive host—just hoping future stays have a smoother cleaning experience.

Hi Kimberli, Thank you for your understanding regarding the cleaning deficiencies. This has been addressed, I have engaged with a new cleaning crew and have setup robust checks for them to complete on every turn around. Despite this issue, I'm so glad you enjoyed the area and your visit, it really is a wonderful little spot with so many great attractions walking distance from the home. I'd love to host you again!

Absolutely horrible. Hosts cancelled on us the same day of check in and said it was an environmental event (hurricane or earthquake). Total lie. It absolutely wasn’t anything like that
