We built the Blue Villa to make people happy: first, our children, who were able to develop their independence here; and now our guests, who enjoy the incredibly peaceful and relaxed atmosphere and the breathtaking view over the sea of vines along the German Wine Route. The upstairs apartment (37 square meters) is a gem for couples who want to be completely on their own. Lovingly furnished with plenty of natural wood and a kitchen where cooking is a joy. Beneath the canopy of an old oak tree lies your private terrace, spanning another 25 square meters. It feels like a treehouse, and you’ll be on a first-name basis with the squirrels.<br><br>+ Charge your electric car with a mobile wallbox, 11 kW<br>+ Billed based on actual usage: 0.4 €<br><br>Location<br><br>The Blue Villa is situated at an elevation of 300 m in the recreational area of Bobenheim am Berg—more in the forest than in the village—while still offering a panoramic view of the Rhine Valley. Grünstadt, Freinsheim, and the A6 are just a few minutes away by car; Bad Dürkheim is 12 minutes away, and the Palatinate Forest is just 20 meters away. A car is helpful, as there are no shopping options in the village. Alternatively, we offer a shopping service by arrangement. The German Wine Route vacation region offers a wonderful climate, charming landscapes, many sights, and laid-back people. You’ll feel right at home!<br><br>We—the hosts—live two houses down and are here for you whenever you need us. Promise!<br><br><br>Amenities - Kitchen: <br><br>Refrigerator with freezer compartment, oven with 4-burner stove, coffee pod machine, electric kettle with tea strainer, toaster, (dishwasher in the basement)—all appliances are new!<br>Dishes for 4 people, glasses and silverware for 6 people, 5-piece WMF cookware set, 3 pans, bowls, kitchen gadgets, knife block, small cutting boards, and other utensils.<br><br>If you find you’re missing anything, we’ll help you out right away. A selection of regional wines is always available—no need to go shopping!<br><br>Living & Sleeping: <br><br>Solid wild oak bed (1.80 x 2.00 m) with a full-length 7-zone mattress. 7-zone slatted frame, adjustable, with a headboard that can be raised. Nightstands made of wild oak with dimmable “Verona” night lights. The bed and nightstands are metal-free except for a few screws.<br><br>Dining table made of pine with 2 extremely comfortable chairs. Sideboard on the north side with many drawers. Above it, a swiveling 32-inch Smart TV. Coat rack made of wild oak.<br><br>6 red velvet curtains for blackout, 4 sheer curtains for drawing back and filtering light<br><br>Dimmable living room lighting; Underfloor heating throughout; hot water supplied by solar collectors during the summer months<br><br>Bathroom:<br><br>Toilet, urinal, real-glass shower with massage jets, large sink, cabinet with compartments, window, and frosted glass door<br><br>Terrace: <br><br>18 sqm terrace with Douglas fir planks, table, and 2 chairs—we’re still working on some cozy summer furniture.
