You can’t get better when it comes to location on Florida Panhandle! You’re right in the middle between Pensacola to the west and Panama City to the east, and there’s plenty to keep you busy close to home at the welcoming resort community of Sandestin® Golf and Beach Resort. And, right down the street, you will find the exciting, family-friendly Village of Baytowne Wharf boasting water sports, a marina, shopping, dining, dancing, and live entertainment. At this bright and airy condo, you’ll have access to amenities like a gorgeous shared pool and hot tub along with beautiful biking and hiking trails among the lush landscaping and countless waterways. There are several golf courses nearby if you want to hit the links. And, best of all, the beach is a five-minute tram ride away!



Inside this cheerful condo, you’ll find lots of light wood and nautical touches. The living room features a plush couch, flatscreen TV, and an electric fireplace for those “chilly” Florida nights. Fire up the electric grill on your balcony and eat al fresco as you watch the excitement of The Village of Baytowne Wharf just down the street. Or, head back inside to the dining area, which seats six. In the open galley-style kitchen you’ll find all the necessities for cooking up a full meal or just a snack for the beach, a short drive away. The main bedroom features an en suite bathroom, and both feature flatscreen TVs as well. If you’re looking for comfort and style as well as easy access to the best of the Emerald Coast, look no further.

Perfect Location for us -we'd stay again

For our family, this was a great place to stay. We had access to all sorts of fun things to do aside from beach and pool. All within steps from our door! Food, entertainment, bars, playground and a few shops, it was great to be right there in Baytowne Wharf. The place was charming and clean. It was well decorated and met our needs perfectly. We would definitely stay here again!

Clean and comfortable

Entire place was very clean! Had a wonderful location, a bit off the beaten path of Baytowne Wharf, so it was a little quieter in the evenings. The balcony was our favorite hangout spot to be part of the action but still able to relax. Very well equipped. Didn't want for anything while we were there.

Property was very clean and exactly as described. We enjoyed the bayside boardwalk. Buses to beach were handy. The landscaping is beautiful. Calm and peaceful resort. Not overcrowded. Would have preferred to have beach/pool towels provided. Salt and pepper and one coffee to start would be nice too. Need Kleenex too. Overall, very nice stay.

The Listing said that it was a “house”

We were anxious to stay at a separate house, and saw this listing. When we arrived, we discovered it was a condo. We couldn’t utilize the balcony either because there was scaffolding all around. The condo itself is adorable and clean, yet the disappointment was the misleading description of it being a house

Nice but needs maintenance

First, let me say the location of this property is great. It’s literally in the village of Baytown wharf where there are many restaurants, shops, and activities. Very convenient location if you just want to stay on property. We had some issues with getting parking passes. The information we received just prior to our stay with instructions was really unclear as to how to get these passes. I called the Vacasa toll free number and was told that the passes would be brought to our unit. They never arrived so we just asked the guard shack on a return trip into the resort. The unit was clean enough but not terrible thorough. There was mildew in the shower and the drain and tub in the master bathroom were loose. The terrace of the unit was dirty and disheveled. If these things could be remedied, the unit is overall nice and the location is great.

The bad and the good

The overall property was good, well maintained and filled with many options that our family — particularly our grandchildren — enjoyed. The unit we rented had many issues, which we dealt with, but presented one problem after another. Not enough space to list them all: Couldn’t get in and nobody on-site to help us. Smaller bedroom still had underwear in dresser and dirty socks under bunk. Sheets smelled like vomit -had to be stripped and washed. No ice maker or ice trays for fridge, yet (great amenity) ice dispenser down the hall noted it was just to fill cups. Tram card, which was supposed to be on counter (or $50 penalty) was missing. Made a call; eventually got text noting it was hidden in a closet. We stayed 7 nights, but were limited to 2 trash bags (which might work for a weekend stay.) Fortunately I had brought extra trash bags and supplies. Cookware was shoddy or unavailable. Glad we also brought some of our own. We were a total of 7 (added a 2-year-old, which we had reported in advance.) We had 8 towels — for 7 people - for a week. But the room offered enough detergent for two loads (one of which was the vomit smelling sheets.) Glad I also packed detergent. The last night we spent, something got spilled on the blanket in the master bedroom. Washed it immediately. Problem then was that the washing machine spin cycle was not working. Had to just leave the blanket in the open machine.
