The Space:

Welcome to your vacation home located on the Gulf on beautiful Holiday Isle. This 2 Bedroom, 2 Bath home on the 4th floor looks out onto the East Pass and the Gulf and Lake Christina with the wonderful birds of nature. It sleeps 6 comfortably with a King Bed in the Primary Bedroom, a Queen and Double Bed in the Secondary Bedroom, and a Queen Sofa Bed in the Living Room. It has a fully equipped kitchen, TVs in the Living Room and Both Bedrooms, a Dining Area looking out over the East Pass, and a Sunroom where you can enjoy beautiful panoramic sunsets. In the summer, you can enjoy the fantastic fireworks from the privacy of your sunroom. The amenities are numerous including Pickleball and Tennis Courts, Shuffleboard, and a pool with a Lanai. The big Beach Pavilion is a wonderful gathering place where you can cookout and then enjoy your meal by the beach. There is great fishing from the rocks at the Jetty by the East Pass. Sidewalks on Holiday Isle provide the perfect place to walk, and there is a plethora of restaurants and shopping very near. Relax and enjoy your home away from home.

Cleanliness, communication and location.Only problem: one of the stove burners did not work and the master bathroom shower did not discharge properly.Overall we really enjoyed the unit.

Better cleaning needed, tell guest toiletries like toilet paper are not provided before arrival, better communication from vacasa, refrigerator did not work for first 2 days and completely spoiled most of our food. Overall wouldn't stay again or recommend.

Ohio couple. No potholders,or dishrag and only 1 dish towel and the couch is broken down.

Over all we really enjoyed the unit and the complex amenities.

Family Beach Vacation 2023 STL

We enjoyed the beautiful Destin beach at Jetty East, as expected! This was our 2nd time at the resort. Condo was very nice, however needs a new sofa for sure. The check-in and check-out process was seamless. I recommend having a few beach towels provided in condo for renters. The sliding door handles to the sun room needs to be updated and they didn’t lock properly. Overall, it was nice accommodations, view was nice of the back jetty/east pass, and bathrooms were very clean and updated!

Good place for the price

Overall this was a quiet place to stay for the price. The condo is on the beach and a short parking lot walk to 2 boardwalks to the beach, and there’s a pool right there as well. The facility is open to air, so as soon as you exit your condo you’re in the open air, but it’s covered from the top, so you won’t get rained on or anything! The view is “waterfront”- being you can see the ocean/jetty, the Bay Area by the bridge into Destin, and a pond. Not the usual beach view we’re used to, but still pretty! Also, the porch was closed in to make it a sunroom which was also different, but for the view not being beachfront, it worked!

DONT BOOK WITH VACASA!

Room was ok. Definitely outdated. No balcony. Parking lot views. False advertising for the 2 beach chairs & 1 umbrella (they didn’t exist) called customer service they offered some money back or reimbursement for renting 2 beach chairs and umbrella daily. We called and left multiple voicemails to customer service but they have ghosted us. Cleaning service wasn’t the best. We vacuumed the sand filled floors on day 2 (to be expected) and found a lot of sand under beds, chairs,& the couch. Also found a baby sock under the couch in the sunroom. Washer and dryer were very small & the washer was very loud. The toilet paper holder fell off the wall in the bathroom. We have booked with VRBO several times in the past and never had an issues, but not impressed with Vacasa. 10/10 wouldn’t stay here or book with them again

This unit is very old. The kitchen is very small and the cabinets are old and feel dirty. The utensils and dishes are awful. I had to wash everything before using it. The air conditioner works fine but is very loud each time it comes on. There were things broken throughout the condo, the toilet paper holder falls off the wall, the tiny dryer lint filter was rusty and broken, and there were lamps that didn’t work. The washer and dryer was so small it was worthless. The master bathroom door has glass panels which is awful if someone turns on the bathroom light in the night. The one good thing is the linens felt fresh and clean. And the location of the condo was great. This condo does not give you a set of chairs and umbrella each day of your stay like many others include. This is the second time this spring that I stayed in a condo that Vacasa managed. And they have both been run down condos. I’m very disappointed in this management company.
