Had a great stay. Accommodations were nice and clean. Only reason it wasn't a 5 star review is because of a few minor things. There were no dish towels or rags, no oven mitts, not enough correct cooking utensils for our needs. Body wash wasn't full so we didn't have enough for both during our stay. Luckily we brought our own. Television was a little hard to navigate but we finally figured it out. Everything else was good and we really liked our stay.

This was the worst VRBO property we’ve rented. One side of the bed caved in either due to the mattress or frame. It creaked so load when getting out or in bed. I’m guessing the owner hasn’t slept in the bed. The furniture is outdated. The couch is tiny and very uncomfortable. Note: the bathroom is not connected to the bedroom. Not a bad thing but I was expecting an en-suite. Walking into the property it is deserted. The only people working is maintenance and house cleaning. There is no one to ask any questions. It is about 2 blocks from Baytowne Warf which is nice.

Great and Convenient!

Loved the pools and hot tubs across from The Grand. Wednesday & Thursday both had live entertainment on main lawn. Never took shuttle but like the convenience of not having to drive to beach. Close to restaurants, bars, and fun shops. Huge balcony was nice with table and chairs to enjoy wine and charcuterie. Only thing we didn’t like is maids trying to get in to clean before 10am. That’s already an early check out and for them to try and come in an hour before was annoying. And then their carts blocked the hall and they left a bag of towels outside our door. They really need to wait till 10am- very rude!!

Great location but condo has some issues!

Pros - location was perfect, close to the pool, walking distance to all the shops and restaurants at Baytowne and great garage parking. The balcony is large and has nice chairs to relax outside. Cons - couch is awful! I had read an old review but figured they would have rectified the situation - they have not. I went with my 19 year old daughter and she planned to sleep on the pullout. There is no way even a child could sleep comfortably. The "mattress" is about 2 inches thick and even with a mattress topper, it was horrible. We had to end up sharing bed. If you're traveling with more than 2 people, choose another rental. Also the condo had an AWFUL smell the entire time. It was so bad that we purchased air fresheners that didn't help. I contacted them but their only remedy was to leave the doors/windows open (which we tried). It smelled like fast food grease. There was also hair in the bathtub and no fitted sheet. They eventually came to our room without notifying us and put on a sheet. I didn't appreciate someone coming in with no notice and while we weren't there.
