The Space:

Welcome to Tropic Winds 1003, nestled in the desirable west end of Panama City Beach. Relax with your loved ones and admire a panoramic view of the sugary white sands and the emerald green waters from your own enormous balcony.



Step inside to find updated decor, a fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops, flatscreen TVs in every room, a private washer/dryer for your swimsuits, and free WiFi and cable service.



Tropic Winds is located on the scenic west end of Panama City Beach on the Gulf of Mexico. Enjoy private access to a beautiful stretch of beach and an unobstructed view of the gulf. On-site amenities include a gulf-side pool, a seasonally heated pool, a gulf-side hot tub, a workout room, and covered parking.



In this amazing location, the best of Panama City Beach is a scooter or bike ride away. You'll be just over two miles from Pier Park's shops, restaurants, movie theater, amusement park, and more. The complex is also less than two miles from Frank Brown Park and not far from Northwest Florida Regional Airport.

During spring break, this condo is only available to families or groups in which all occupants are at least 25 years of age

Great Girls’ Trip

Very comfortable unit

The place was clean, quiet and had all of the necessities both inside as well as beach chairs, etc for the beach. We have stayed at Tropic Winds before, and will stay again.

Great location and Balcony

The property was located in the quieter end of PCB which was ideal. The balcony was huge with two loungers and a dining table for six. We thoroughly enjoyed the relaxation.

Beautiful clean condo. Great location! Elevators quick wait time never over 2 minutes.

We had great weather. The condo was older but overall nice. We would have appreciated a few more bath towels since there were only 6 total and a few were thin.

Our favorite so far!

We’ve stayed at a lot of PCB properties and this one is our favorite! The rooms are big, the bathrooms are nice, good water pressure and that view! It’s easy to get to and from the beach, too! We were there off seaso , so the elevators and parking garage weren’t busy. The carpet needs replaced and there were some stains on the white bedding too.

Summer Vacation

We love staying at Tropic Winds. It is so nice to have an assigned parking spot. We love how quiet it is on the west end of PCB. Everyone is so friendly. The only downfall this stay was one of the elevators not working. The condo was great! the views are amazing. We will definitely being staying here again!!!

Great stay

This was a very nice condo with plenty of room for our family. It was clean when we arrived. It was a quiet area. The pool is not great and if you have a big car like we do, the parking garage is a nightmare. We actually scratched our car getting in our space and we started parking across the street. Other than parking, we enjoyed our stay.

Nice, but….

Over all a nice place: clean,nice location,beach is just steps away, view is gorgeous. Kitchen could use more storage bowls. The blender was dirty upon arrival. Knives are very dull. Balcony could use a good cleaning. Washer/dryer too small. Lightbulb on balcony needs replaced. We would stay again.

Dirty

This would be a nice property if it was given a real good deep cleaning. The quilt/bedspread had stains all over it. The sheets and pillow cases had black marks on them. The doors had splatters of something in them. The furniture had dirty fingerprints and smears on them. The baseboards and everything was very dirty. The parking is a confused and tight nightmare. I would not stay here again.

I got a tow ticket warning for not having the proper parking pass. It had been used by the previous person also we had a maintenance guy show up when we were leaving had no clue he was coming and had an exterminator in our condo while we were out shopping! No one told us they were coming poor communication with the manager of this condo! Was upset that people were in the condo and o was not made aware of it! The tubs need up graded the master bedroom carpet was soaked by the bedroom door carpet was dirty old shag needs upgraded

The Room is Lovely BUT... Parking is BAD...

The parking was horrible. So glad we did not have to go up in the parking deck because it was almost impossible to manuver in a Ford F150. I can not imagine if we had met someone going in the other direction. It is a nightmare and will probably cause us to not go to this building in the future. However, the 1003 room is on the first floor of the deck but it is still VERY TIGHT. The room was GREAT. The beach location and time in the gulf - AMAZING. It is a very easy walk to the beach with a nice sandbar just offshore. The only other thing that I did not care for was the trash chute. It's kinda scary going into a room like that. I would not feel comfortable at night. Overall, I would recommend if you have a small car. It would be nice to have additional parking for large vehicles besides the "assigned" parking across the street.

Unwanted was the feeling

The condo had a few lights out and the Keurig was leaking bad. We didn’t know it leaked until we spent 50$ on k pods. We notified the help desk and they sent a coffee pot, which we already had. The guy said he would return with a new Keurig but he never did. They never responded about the lights that were out. But the real issues lay with a couple nosy busy bodies that lived there. They saw me and my partner holding hands on the beach and made a comment like “oh we have those kind here this week.” After that they constantly were telling employees we wasn’t following rules which made the staff constitutionally bother us with questions of whether we had our bracelet on or if saw the signs regarding the pool, steam room and hot tub rules. Two mornings they actually told employees they saw me smoking on the patio which caused the employees to bang loudly on my door and waking the entire condo up. No one in my group smokes might I add. Later as we were leaving the couple made the comment to my mother in law that gays were not welcome and they apologized for her having to see that. Obviously they didn’t realize she was with us.

Great Building, No Local Customer Support

Pros: -Very clean -Cardio Room in Building -Sliding glass door in bedroom and living room -Kitchen stocked enough that I cooked a X-Mas dinner Cons: -No screen door for the living room. It was completely gone except for the sliding frame. -Trouble connecting to WiFi-Called Vacasa and was told a "local team member' would call me back - NO call back was received until 10 days later when we were back home -Not a gym as described -just four cardio machines so would be more accurate to say "cardio room" -Not onsite pools as described - it would be more accurate to say there is one pool or a pool. -Everyday except X-mas day there was continuous drilling and vibrations all day from construction on floor above. I was never alerted that there would be onsite construction. I called Vacasa and was told a "local team member" would call me back. NO phone call was received about this until we returned home. The girl stated that she was off work so she didn't know why they even gave her the "work tickets". Also, she stated that she would call to check on the next people. She offered no discount or anything! Overall, I would never rent from Vacasa again. I save all year to visit my father once a year in Panama City Beach. I always stay in this particular building; however, I was very disappointed with Vacasa's customer service. They had no one to assist me on the days I was there, and I had guests leave early on Saturday, Christmas Eve with headaches because of the drilling.

The condo was NOT CLEAN the bedding not including sheets was gross - the couch stinks the pillows were stained - the bathrooms were ok at best - the floors were FILTHY- our socks were ruined - the rug/carpet was disgusting.
