Tropic Isles stay

Condo was very clean. We loved sitting on the balcony, when we weren’t doing something else, and just chilling.

Much better places to stay for less.

The pictures do not show a true representation of the unit on this property. The bed is hand made with an ill-fitting mattress, probably a king mattress but the sheets are for a full size bed. The kitchen faucet hot water after it's been turned off, magically comes on by itself. The mold on the outside bottom of the tub was gross. The baseboards have not been dusted in some time. The shower/tub is way small for any average size adult, perhaps a curved shower rod would help. The washer/dryer combo is so small. I washed two beach towels and that was all that fit. The mirrors in both bathrooms are coming apart. The toaster doesn't work. There is no air conditioning in the elevator and the breezeway area on each floor is right next to 6 air conditioning units, can you say sauna? The bunk bed mattresses are so old and almost flat. Pros, the air conditioner worker great as well as the hot water heater. The refrigerator and ice maker worked great. Hopefully this helps someone else and gets this unit up to date.

Perfect!

We absolutely Loved our stay, it was the perfect place for us. The property was super clean. Information was sent in a timely manner and everything was easy to understand. Having that balcony facing the beach was wonderful. At this time of year we could watch the sunrise and sunset off the balcony. We saw dolphins almost every day. They have some higher chairs on the balcony so that the railing doesn't obstruct the views, which is great. The condo is very conveniently located to restaurants and things to do. The whole stay was very relaxing and we absolutely loved it.

Gulf Shores Long Weekend

Location 10/10. Directly on beach with private beach entrance. Walking distance to any thing you would need as far as entertainment and restaurants such as the HANGOUT. Tip: Cactus Cantina Mexican restaurant is one of the best we’ve ever had. Setup 8/10. Good size for small family of 4. The twin bunks we thought would work for our 19 and 16 year old kids but the mattresses are VERY THIN and not suitable. Luckily they had a sofa sleeper. I believe the website says there is only 1 bathroom but there is actually 1 full and a 1/2 bath which was a nice surprise Supplies 9/10. Plenty of dishes, utensils, cookware. Stove, microwave , coffee maker nice. If you plan on cooking bring some salt/ pepper and other seasonings. Unit comes with none. You Complaints. Not really any fault of the unit or rental management but the unit directly next door houses a year round resident that SMOKES LIKE A FREIGHT TRAIN. So much that it seeps through the AC vents and even outdoor to the balcony. It was so bad that we could not even sit outside and enjoy the outdoor set up. This was a huge disappointment and the only reason we would not be back.

Wonderful stay! Would recommend!

The property itself was amazing! Full beach views, easy access to the beach from the pool area, and right in the middle of all the action! Owner provided travel size dish soap, laundry detergent, dishwasher soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash! Everything we could have needed was there! We can’t wait to come back!! Only thing we couldn’t find was the Wi-Fi password! Other than that, we have absolutely no complaints! Wish I could give 10 stars! Exceeded expectations!

We enjoyed our stay. It was a very clean condo. Beautiful view of the beach. One issue the toilet in the master bathroom did not have enough pressure to flush. Other than that we would love to stay again.

My mother and I have taken a beach trip to Gulf Shores for the past 7 years and this was the best property we’ve stayed in! Extremely convenient location; just around the corner from all the good eats. Very, very clean and quiet property with easy beach access. The condo was spacious and fully stocked. We would love to return to this property for our visit next year!! The only suggestion I have, would be a lock on the condo door. Being two women traveling alone I would’ve liked even a simple chain on the door. Though the property seemed completely safe and the keypad on the door seemed to work perfectly, it’s always good to have another level of protection. Overall, we were absolutely happy with our stay!

Relaxing stay

All in all it was a good stay. The only minuses we’re, a Lincoln Navigator, parked in the underground parking, that had our our condo number, the whole time we were at the condo, it would have been nice to park out of the sun, we understand not everyone does what they’re supposed to. The other item, it would have been nice to have a broom and dust pan and more utensils. It was so nice to have a suitcase cart to move stuff to our condo. Location was great! Thanks for a great stay! Find Somewhere Else

Very old and thin bed linens. Ottoman needs to be thrown away & replaced. Table lamp not working. Hair dryer not working. Ripped pillows need to be thrown away and replaced. Toilet paper falls off the crooked holder mounted on wall.

Nice place

Great location and beautiful view! Condo does need some attention but overall great place. Some things needing fixed/repaired and does need attention to detail on cleaning. Razor cover left in shower, hair on sink in 1/2 bath. Remote in living room is broken so could not turn on the cable… enjoyed no tv though. The property manager sent over some batteries but remote is broken so that didn’t work. Overall great condo and we had a great time!

Beautiful view!

This condo was a perfect fit for my husband and I. The view from the balcony is incredible! The location of the condo was within walking distance to some nice restaurants and local shops. The wifi was a little weak but not too bad. The condo was very nice and clean. The floor was a little dirty but it is a beachfront property so it was somewhat expected. Just bring house slippers. 😊 Would absolutely recommend this property to anyone. We loved it!

So pleased with our first visit to Gulf Shores

This property was exactly as shown on the website and met our expectations fully! Everything seem to be fairly new/updated and the whole condo had such a nice feel to it. The rental process was so smooth and we especially appreciated the contacts/communication from the property manager all the way through the process. Everything was made easy from rental to checking in and checking out. The beach was beautiful for walking and we were especially happy with the view from the condo and enjoyed time on the balcony. Weather was beautiful and we enjoyed seeing many sites around the area. It appears that it would be a very crowded area during the height of the season, but February was certainly perfect for us as far as weather and fewer people!

Great condo close to everything.

Great one bedroom condo close to all the action. I liked the extra half bath. Views from the balcony are excellent, especially at sunrise and sunset.

Great Place to Stay

This place was great. So much better than a hotel. Our child played with the puzzles and watched dvds they had for kids and it was very convenient to have a full kitchen. It was very clean. We would stay here every year if possible.

A great place to stay

Unit was clean comfortable and spacious, with all the amenities needed for our three day stay. The view from the balcony was awesome and the beach just steps away from the building. Great location as well, as restaurants and specialty stores were within walking distance. My wife and I would easily stay here again.

Nice property , poor property mgt

We arrived on a Friday and asked if we could check in early, the answer was no. So that was fine, so we did then in fact check in at the designated check in time, 4pm. The condo had NOT been cleaned. I called and text the property management and was on hold in all over an hour, when the cleaning people finally showed up it took over an hour and half to get the condo clean . So we had to sit out by pool with all our luggage and food we had gotten while we waited . Condo itself was nice . But if I ever see Vacasa as property manager I WILL NOT RENT!!!!! They said they would give a partial refund, but havent seen it yet, of course if I want to call them I need to prepare for being on hold for a VERY long time.
