The Space:

From its prime location directly on the Gulf of Mexico, this waterfront condo boasts a furnished balcony overlooking the pool and the adjacent beach as well as a bright, tastefully decorated, and very inviting interior. Step through the front door and find yourself in the well-equipped, full kitchen ready to help you prepare your favorite recipes during your stay. Dine together at the table for six, and then pick a spot on the cozy sectional sofa and watch some TV in the adjacent living area. Guests will also enjoy access to the shared pool as well as convenient beach access.



What's nearby:

For dining out, there are several local eateries within easy walking distance, including Janino's Pizza (offering takeout and delivery) right across the road. Within a mile or so of this condo take your pick from, Bahama Bob's Beach Side Cafe, the Hangout Gulf Shores, and Pink Pony Pub offer dining and drinks right on the sand. And for family-friendly fun, visit Waterville USA and the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo, both within a couple miles of this vacation rental, as well as Gulf State Park for hiking, picnicking, and wildlife viewing, three miles east.

We traveled with friends to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. The condo was perfect for two couples. Two bedrooms with two bathrooms. The living area was nicely sized, with a very comfy couch. Kitchen had most everything you would need to prepare meals and there was dining for at least six. The balcony had a great view of the ocean and pool area. There was a nice pub height table with two chairs. There was one extra chair, but not enough seating for four individuals. Access to beach was very convenient. Overall it was a great trip. The one minor inconvenience was the bathroom connected to the main bedroom could use some updating. The toilet is older and sits low to the floor and was not firmly attached to the floor. It’s not the best fit for taller individuals.

So the prior reviews about the place being older and the TV needing to be larger are correct. We picked a weekend where it was wet and rainy and the TV SUCKED. It was so slow and difficult to work, and very small compared to the size of the place. It's still overall a very nice place. It could definitely do with a few simple upgrades (even painting the side of the fridge/changing vanities/bigger TV/better coffee machine/more mugs/etc.), but that's probably why it's priced the way it is. The mattresses probably could use an upgrade, and the light fixture above the master bedroom kept flickering. We were given early check-in but no late check-out--and someone came into the unit prior to the check-out time, which wasn't ideal. Despite this, overall, we enjoyed our stay, and the pool/access to the beach were nice. As long as you're not looking for super fancy, this is a fine place to stay.

We understand that the TV and some of the other amenities didn’t meet your expectations, and we’re sorry for any inconvenience that caused.
