The Great Escape

We enjoyed the beautiful beach, the sunrise and sunset from the many views from the home, and the amenities offered. We have no complaints!! We could not believe how close we were to the beach!! The great escape❤️

paradise get away

The house is located in a very private area. The beach is not crowded. If you want shopping and activities this is not the place for you. If you want peace, beauty and relaxation this is for you! There are several good restaurants nearby. People are very friendly and nice.

Awesome home!

House was clean and spacious. Kitchen is well stocked with necessities for cooking. We thoroughly enjoyed the deck and screened in patio. We were disappointed to see that the house is already rented through the summer. We would love to return in the future!

Right next to the ocean!

Loved how close it was to the beach! We really enjoyed the screened in porch as well. Probably could handle a new dishwasher since some of the dishes in the cabinets were still alittle dirty. The couch and ottoman had some stains on it as well. In some spots of the house the flooring had issues.

Great place

Four adults stayed here for 5 nights the end of April. Super quiet location steps from the beach! House was great as stated, very roomy and open. Bedrooms and bathrooms were great. Towels and linens could have been alittle softer/nicer (fresh sunburned skin is delicate). The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and prepare meals and snacks although we didn’t have any kitchen towels or dish cloths and only one garbage bag, no worries we made do. We for sure would stay here again.

Review of Heavenly Days

The location and views were beyond amazing. We loved the relaxed and remote atmosphere and the coziness of the classic weather worn beach house steps from the ocean. The layout of the property was great, with panoramic ocean views from each of the 3 bedrooms. Down side was the property needs some maintenance and updating and communication with property management for issues was poor. However overall it was a wonderful experience.

Heavenly beach!!

Nice beach house with a beautiful beach front!! Home was big enough for 6 grownups and a baby! Big living area and kitchen! Screened porch would have been wonderful but the screen on the door was broken and barely hanging on and one section of the screen window areas was missing. Made it hard to enjoy the porch because of big flies and mosquitos. Overall we had a good time!

Great beachfront spot

Great location right on the water. The living area is open and spacious, however two of the bedrooms are very small, it’s difficult to fit one suitcase in them, much less two. The master has plenty of room. There is not much in the way of blankets in any of the rooms. It is nice that all bedrooms have doors to the beachfront porch. The kitchen is large but very sparsely stocked in regards to utensils and everyday items. We enjoyed eating on the screened in porch and loved that we could bring the dogs! Would stay again but be better prepared with bringing more necessary items.

Birthday week stay

The house was nice. No extra blankets, we had to go buy some. And contractors showed up unannounced to measure the decks while we were there. That’s was not cool. But we love the beach & water and had a great time regardless.

Perfect Location

Pros Location was perfect, was able to watch the dolphins multiple times a day as they swam past. The screened in porch was great to sit out there with your coffee & watch the sun come up. Loved being so close to the beach. The deck was new, looked like it had just been completed & was great to sit out there on the good weather days & watch all of the people enjoying the beach.Loved the open concept inside the house, lots of room for bigger groups.ConsWe had one week of cold weather, the windows are not sealed very good, you could feel the wind coming in the kitchen windows, the sliding doors in the bedrooms could use some help as well.Could use some extra blankets in the bedrooms for those chilly nights & some throw blankets in the great room, again for those chilly days.No chairs to sit out on the beach so you will need to bring or buy some.

Roach motel

House comfortable- location fabulous. However, living room furniture is so dirty it had to be covered to sit on. Main problem was the roaches that was never shared in any of the reviews. It was so bad our grown daughter slept in the vehicle the last night and we contemplated leaving early. Two kinds exist at this location- large roaches that are associated with damp rotten wood( house walls) and the smaller house roach. We cleaned and kept everything sealed and picked up but every evening it was like a major event. Very disappointed. I would like to know if we ever booked again that the house was bug free. Side note- there were to many to say that it is a recent problem. Please fix that and not worry about screens in porch or any other silly things

Our homes are treated quarterly for pests, and our property manager has assured us that they are taking preventative measures to combat the entrance of unwanted critters. Regrettably, with the home's rainforest location, as well as the climate of the island, pests are not uncommon. We hope to have the opportunity to host you for another great stay in the future.

Not worth the money!

The furniture was so dirty I had to put sheets over it so my granddaughter could lay on it. There was a review that brought it to the property managers attention who rented it before we did and I thought for sure it would be taken care of but it wasn't. The microwave handle was broken off and put in a draw. The stove dials were so worn off you could not see how low or high the burners were on. We could not find the TV remote and the internet went out after the first day we were there and everyone else around us had internet. Property management said it was a problem with internet provider but it was out all week and we had a member of our party that needed to work. The grill is very old looking and the handle was broken. We were afraid to try to turn it on to grill. The property management did finally send someone out on July 4th, two days before we left to fix the microwave handle and grill handle. Never stayed in touch about status of internet. Could not fin the TV remote but it didn't matter because of no internet. I would never rent this place again. The amount of money you pay is not just for the view but to be able to enjoy your stay.
