The Space:

Surround yourself with the gorgeous sights, sounds, and colors of the Gulf of Mexico at this Gulf Shores condo, a breezy Alabama escape with a private balcony that overlooks the water and a spectacular beachfront position. In addition to in-house amenities such as central AC, ceiling fans, ceramic tile floors, and multiple flatscreen TVs, the condo boasts access to shared amenities that include an indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, and fitness room!



This condo is located on the seventh floor of Plantation Palms, a beachfront complex within the confines of Gulf Shores Plantation on the Fort Morgan Peninsula. It is also a short drive from Gulf State Park and Kiva Dunes Golf Course.



Things to know:

The parking fee for this vacation rental is $35. Instructions for purchasing the required parking pass will be included in your confirmation email.

Only valid service animals will be allowed that are registered/checked-in with security at arrival, but if a service animal is causing an issue such as barking (other than a medical emergency), not on leash and properly controlled, seen as aggressive or approaching others, or defecating in any way in the common grounds areas, they will be evicted.

The Palms building hot tub opens September 16 - May 14 and will be closed May 15 - September 15.

Guests will have access to all six outdoor pools, the indoor saltwater pool, outdoor and indoor hot tubs, as well the sauna located on the Gulf Shores Plantations grounds.

Great place if your prepared.

Loved the place. It was clean and pretty well maintained. Great beach. Just a little too far away from town when you needed something you may have forgotten or didn’t realize you needed. I would definitely stay again would just plan better knowing the distance from town.

Great view!

Great condo with plenty of room and a beautiful view from the over sized porch. Listing was exactly as described and clean. Kitchen well stocked with dishes, pots & pans, etc.

Great location with a beautiful view

Our particular condo was wonderful! The deco was beautifully done. It was very spacious. We had a direct view of the beach. The overall property could have used a little updating and cleaning though, but not to the point that it would keep me from returning for another vacation.

Good beds, great view, but could have been a little cleaner. Called for noise complaint one night. Was fixed within 15 minutes. Building a little older.

Beach Vacation

We loved our condo! It was very clean and I loved to beach decor and colors. The view was beautiful. It was very convenient to have a washer and dryer in the condo. We loved the beach. It was very well taken care of. The on site restaurant was also a great choice for something convenient. My kids loved riding the Fort Morgan ferry to and from Dauphin Island. We loved the remote location of this condo. It was so nice to be removed from the hustle and bustle of Gulf Shores, but still easy to get to if we wanted to go to town. We would definitely visit this condo again!

Could have been better

The unit itself was clean and well stocked. The only complaint I have is that they were working on the resort early mornings through afternoon so we would be awaken each morning with the sounds of drills and hammers. Therefore it ruined our vacation for rest and relaxation. One night of our stay none of the resident keys would work to access the indoor pool so we stood out there for 1/2 hour til maintenance showed up to let us in

Family vacation

Property has a nice view and living room is inviting, however master bedroom mattress needs replaced as well as balcony furniture. When we arrived we did not have bath towels. Property manager was quick to respond and brought towels within a few hours. Keyless entry was nice so you did not have to keep track of a key. Property was not as clean as we would have liked. The container holding silverware had crumbs in it.

Great area

We were lucky that this property was available on short notice. The price was great. On arrival, there was confusion with the parking passes as the confirmation email I received said we had 2 passes included with our reservation, but the guard shack was only given 1 pass for our unit. We were able to work it out by showing them the confirmation email. The property manager was also very helpful and quick to respond. The unit was clean, but there was a load of dishes left in the dishwasher. Unit was as pictured; however, the beds were not very comfortable. The unit has a great view of the gulf, but the patio is cluttered with furniture that you have to move out of the way to get to a seat or to the rail. This is a great area to stay, the beach was not too crowded and it’s more isolated from the tourist traffic.
