The check in was easy, but once we arrived the place was not like the pictures and it REEKED of cigarette smoke even though it said no smoking. Upon using the bathroom, the water pipe under the sink was broken and pouring into a bucket causing a mildew smell and fruit flies because the bathroom fan didn’t work. I messaged the owner, she said she would send maintenance - they came once and didn’t fix it. I told her this and she stopped responding to me for the entirety of our stay. There was paint chipped/peeling off walls and doors, my TODDLER found a marijuana joint and lighter in the couch and overall it was the worst stay of our lives. The kitchen was disgusting and the place overall has not been well taken care of. This was our first Vrbo and I can tell you we won’t do it again if this is what to expect. I’m a 5 star rated traveler on all other home rental sites and am a very understanding woman but she literally didn’t message us back after the first day! Ignored us completely and didn’t fix anything. The pipe then flooded into our hallway and we had to use the towels to dry it up and wash our hands in the kitchen to prevent even more damage. Totally neglected and upset.
