What truly sets The Nelson House apart is that it wasn’t designed by a developer, it was restored and renovated by us, with care and intention.
Originally built in the 1960s, the home had wonderful bones and quiet desert charm. We thoughtfully updated it ourselves, preserving its character while modernizing it for comfort and reliability. As artists, beauty and function have always mattered deeply to us. Every detail, from the layout flow to the textures and colors, was chosen to create a space that feels warm, grounded, and welcoming.
This isn’t a “styled for photos only” rental. It’s a home that was loved first, then shared.
The 1.9 acres offer privacy and sweeping views, while the surrounding neighborhood has its own desert personality! Don’t be surprised if you see neighbors’ goats wandering down the road or catch sight of quail darting across the yard. It’s peaceful, slightly quirky, and very much part of what makes the high desert special.
