Warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully positioned for making the most of everything McCall has to offer, this charming home is a wonderful retreat in any season. Spend summer evenings out on the deck as the Idaho air cools around you, or gather around the firepit for the kind of unhurried conversation that only seems to happen on vacation. When winter settles in and the temperature drops, the wood stove keeps the whole home wonderfully cozy — the perfect companion for a relaxed evening in after a day on the trails or the slopes.



As part of the Spring Mountain Ranch community, you'll enjoy access to an impressive suite of shared amenities throughout your stay — giving this home a genuine resort feel without the resort price tag.

The access stairs to the Cottage are under repair and difficult to navigate. Also the front step had a loose board that kept flipping up.

Comfy Cottage

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The kitchen was very well stocked with small appliances, and cooking implements; the furniture and beds were very comfortable, and everything was nicely decorated. McCall was cloaked in snow and the surroundings were lovely.

Perfect for our needs

Well appointed and comfortable. I would stay here again….one weird thing, the back deck is missing a staircase- so it looks like a massive square hole in the deck.

Home away from home

This is our third time at the McCall Cottage. It is always clean and comfortable with great supplies and amenities. We enjoyed our time on the deck watching the deer. Only thing we saw that needs attention was the bar stools are starting to get wobbly and needs some tightening. We will be back.

Fabulous!

We LOVED this place so much!! Great location, quiet and serene. Deer walking right by the kitchen window. Enjoyed family time playing games and everyone slept like a rock because the beds were so comfortable. We will definitely be back.. actually wish we could just buy it as is 😆 Well supplied kitchen (though the microwave was not working).. could use a tea kettle, but not a big deal. Thanks for the fantastic weekend!!

Lots of stairs outside and in the property. I should have searched for ADA access for our group. Floor could have been cleaner. But everything else was top notch. Would have been nice to have small bundle of firewood available.

Quiet Neighborhood

The inside was clean, (I do feel the house could have been vacuumed better in the upstairs bedroom.) but the outside deck, table & chairs were another story. It looked like it hadn't been swept or hosed off in a while. We love to sit outside on the deck and have coffee or drinks, and I think the cleaning company forgot about the outside, especially in the summer! The outside space was one of the reasons we picked this property, it was located in a Very quiet neighborhood which was relaxing!

The property manager never returned an email asking for a schedule modification days earlier. The walkway is very icy stairs, not maintained. The wall heaters needed to be reset. Spent the first night chilly. The hot tub and sauna are closed.

Nice little cabin 5 minutes from town - with a few wrinkles

This is a great place to stay. Close to town yet quiet and away from the noise. The property is, however, very close other properties and you cannot drive directly to the property. It requires navigating a serious set of gravel steps. The owner needs to be more clear about this for folk with physical limitations. If you love privacy and solace, this may not be the place for you. The owner requested removing shoes but the floor was not clean and our socks got quite dirty. The internet was out during our stay but that is not the fault of the owners. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. The only thing lacking was a way to boil water for tea and french press.

Great place to relax!

Perfect vacation home for us! Home is off the road, which we liked with children and dogs. Hard to see in the evening as the stairs are not lit. Home was well stocked and beds were comfortable. Kids loved having the loft to themselves. Note there is not air conditioning but didn't get too warm (end of Aug) and fans in each room to keep air flow. Beautiful paths to take walks, easy access to pool (highlight for all of us!), and a quick drive to downtown. Even though this home is very dog friendly, please be aware that there are two neighbors who do not like dogs, at all. Our 2-year-old let out the dogs to go potty, as he does at home, and we leashed them immediately, just steps from porch. We woke up the next morning to an officer issuing us a ticket, without hearing our side of the story. We learned this is a known issue and there is zero empathy towards you if your dog is off leash, even for 30 seconds.

Not satisfied! Heating wasn’t working in some areas and then one overheated had to turn system off

Would NOT stay there again. Upon arrival it was very cold inside. Thermostat set at 50 degrees. Turned them all on but only a few were working but not enough to warm up the place. Called it in after 3 hours and property manager called and said it had happened there before. Her husband gave us some instructions on how to reset it. That worked but the next night we smelled something burning and it was the same one we reset. This was at 10:00pm. We turned everything off afraid that it would burn the place down. We left message for Property manager but never heard back. We left and went home at 11:00pm. Wouldn’t recommend this property. They were aware of the problem but have never rectified it. Poorly managed.
