Relaxing, but left a lot to be desired
There was no house book, so upon arrival, trying to figure out some of the house quirks, as well as not having any direct contact instructions was a bit unnerving. We also rented this for its heated pool and spa, and winter visitors should keep in mind the property will charge you extra to have these heated. Apparently the pool technician did not set up the heated pool or spa correctly, so our first 48 hours had no heating. After contacting our property manager, they were able to sync the heat times up correctly, and informed us that the pool would max at 86 degrees and the spa at 104. The spa got close to 104 degrees (it was the same temperature as the pool the entire time), and the pool maybe reached 80 degrees for an hour out of our whole stay. We wanted to relax, so we thought we'd utilize the jacuzzi tub in the master bathroom, nope, the drain plug on that wouldn't seal either, so no hot tubbing for us. Overall very disappointed with our experience, especially regarding the heated pool and spa, as that was the main selling point for us in booking this location, and we were able to maybe comfortably enjoy it for 90 minutes out of our 3 day stay.The house itself is in a good location, quick to downtown and the airport, and was very clean.Our property manager mentioned this was a newer listing, so there were still some things they were figuring out. I would recommend that visitors wait for things to be figured out over the coming months before booking here.
