Carl, thank you for sharing your experience. With your kind feedback, we are happy to share that we do have new furniture on the way! We hope it arrives as soon as possible, but as you know, "island time" is a very true motto for the virgin islands! In regards to your comment regarding the kitchen appliances, the stove is brand new and we do our best to make sure everything runs the way it should as well as fully stocked with cooking essentials. If there was anything in particular that was missing, please call or email us. We will have our island manager do a walk through to ensure there is adequate appliances and cookware in the meantime. As for the noise, this was addressed at the time of your review and the problem was resolved. Thank you, again, for sharing your feedback!

Hello Jenell. I am sorry you left St John feeling less than satisfied with Villa Aria. Aria is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath villa, as stated on the site and sleeps 4 comfortably. We follow VRBO's format that allows us to extend the courtesy of allowing one additional person, at a minimal cost with a blow up bed. This eliminates guests having to rent a 3 bedroom villa for 5 guests at a much higher cost. Our highest priority is the comfort and safety of our guests and had we have known of any issue during your stay we would have addressed it immediately. If we knew you did not feel comfortable or safe we would have re-located you, but the local office has no record of a conversation with you during your stay. There are no tarantulas on St John, just big spiders that look like tarantulas! I verified the outside lights were working on your arrival day and on your departure day. I also verified the lights continue to work for the current guests. I verified both ac units were working on your arrival and departure day. I verified the pool guy showed up, introduced himself loudly before going on to the pool deck which was empty. When he went to the pool a gentleman and yourself came out of the upper level door at which time the pool man stated he was there with tablets and would be gone shortly. In no way were you unsafe and looking at the pool man in front of you as you were on the upper level with a gentleman. Bad reviews affect so many people, with defamed statements can get people fired and lose credibility because your grievance is only that you did not want to pay additional for a larger villa. According to our records via email you were well aware of your options and chose to rent Aria for 4 guests (eliminating the 5th person) you knew would be traveling.
