Thank you for choosing our vacation home for your stay at Pointe West. Vitamin Sea’s location offers privacy and beautiful views of the ocean and wildlife. The properties golf cart trails are great for viewing the area and my favorite is riding over to watch the sunset on the bay. We have shared your feedback on the wristband resort amenity fees with the club, a seperate entity from us. The beach is wide open for guest use and one of the best on the island, away from the tourist crowds. "Beaching it" is a perfect way to spend the day! Upon arrival we ask every guest to take a few minutes and inspect the rental unit so that we can address any problematic issues immediately. This guest did not call until the evening before her departure. When we offered to move to another unit, she declined. There was no mention of broken furniture. We had the unit treated for sugar ants after their departure. It seems suspicious that once we did not meet her demands on monetary compensation that we received this unfavorable review. Pointe West Resort is located on the west end of the island as shown on the VRBO listing map. It is away from the crowds of the seawall and the place to be if you want a relaxing vacation with a clean private beach and great pools. Please be sure to view location on map or call us with any questions you may have BEFORE booking. In this community, we are individual owners who open up our vacation homes to others. We are not a luxury hotel chain, but we try our best to make sure our guest have an enjoyable time. When a guest asks for a refund at the end of their stay, it is hard to justify. Our rates are fairly priced in comparison to other units in the community. It will be nice when VRBO allows us (the owners) to review the guests - this feature is coming soon! Hopefully, this will stop those who write unfair reviews and stop the abuse of extortion. This condo (for most part) receives high star ratings because a MAJORITY of our guest have had a great experience and enjoy coming to Galveston!!!

Vitamin Sea does have beautiful serene views of both the beach and bay; perfect for catching sunrises and sunsets. Well appointed with many thoughtful touches it is perfect for those wanting a relaxing getaway all while still being in quick access to the Beach Club.
