Inside the unit was exactly as promised. It was clean and comfortable. The washer/dryer were located in a shed in the front garden, not in-unit. The exterior of the unit was fine, but the building itself was sketchy and the location was not what I was expecting.

The condo itself was clean. A few updates wouldn't hurt, maybe can lights in kitchen and living room. It was dark if the curtains were closed.A king bed on the second floor would be nice instead of a queen.Our main concern was the outside grounds and getting to the condo. The pictures shown in the listing did not show the entire situation. Granted the location is awesome and other rentals across the street and further down were very well kept up. The entire condo property (3 separate units, A, B, C) were horrible. The driveway is not paved, just gravel which had huge pot holes. Where we were told to park was littered with trash, liquor bottles, homeless people hanging out at all times. This was very unnerving as we had to make sure not to say anything as you could tell they were on drugs. We found out that one of the units close to ours was housing the homeless population that hung around. They also were in the dumpsters going through garbage for items they could "resell". I feel that the owners of these units should join together to make the outside parking area are more appealing. Then maybe approach the city about what is being allowed to go on in the complex. I felt uneasy the entire time and I had my husband with me. It was a chore to keep my 2 small dogs in check as they were always there.As I said the inside of the condo and the attached patio and the private grounds were clean. I had not problem with the condo itself.

While the common areas and neighboring units are outside of our direct control, we completely understand how the conditions you described could negatively impact your comfort during your stay.
