Big house in Cantabria, Spain

Large country house with a plot of land (2000 m2) in the heart of Cantabria, fully equipped. Ideal for families with children. It has a large living-dining room, right next to the kitchen. On the first and second floors there are three double bedrooms, as well as two single bedrooms. There are three bathrooms and a toilet. On the second floor, there is a second living room. The porch, directly next to the kitchen, invites you to eat and relax in the garden. It is located in the "Valle de Paz," about 40 minutes from Santander (and the airport) and 30 minutes to the beaches in Suances. The hilly mountains invite you to hike and bike. The nearby prehistoric caves are attractions worth visiting. There is a children's playground directly behind the house. We are happy to provide more information upon request.

Beautiful house in a lovely location

This is stunning house - spacious, very clean and well equipped, a huge garden and a covered terrace for sitting/ dining, with views out across the valley. The garden and playroom mean it’s ideal for kids. There’s a small local bar 50m away, and the nearest village has a great ice cream parlour as well as an excellent cheese and local food store. Hikes, bike trails and prehistory are all nearby.

We had a lovely stay in Villegar. The house is well equipped and spacious, with lots of outdoor space. There were also plenty of toys and books to help entertain our children. We were greeted and shown round by the owner, who also checked in by messaging to make sure everything was ok. The house is in a quiet area but that was fine for us. There is a nice little bodega down the road, a public pool nearby, parks and walks.

Increíble ubicación

Hemos disfrutado en familia de la zona de los valles pasiegos y la ubicación, limpieza y confort de la casa han sido geniales.Para los niños hay cuna, trona, juguetes, pinturas… aunque tampoco hemos podido estar mucho porque llegábamos tarde, justo para cenar.

Fantástica casa y estancia

Buscábamos una casa para pasar el fin de año la familia y no podíamos haber elegido mejor. La casa es tal cual en las fotografías. Hemos estado como en casa. Los dos niños han disfrutado con los juguetes que había en la casa. Ha sido ideal! Un placer

Semana maravillosa

Hemos pasado una semana increible en la casa. Es ideal para pasar unos dias de desconexion con nuestras hijas pequeñas y amigos con hijas pequeñas tambien. La casa estaba muy limpia, muy bien equipada y un jardin precioso. Una salira de juegos que las más pequeñas han disfrutado y nosotros los mayores tambien! Seguro que repetimos el año que viene!

Cómoda y muy agradable

La casa es hermosa, muy cómoda y con un gran jardín en el que se puede disfrutar de la familia y el campo, ubicada en una área central Cantabria en el que en un recorrido de menos de 30 min a una hora llegas a cualquier lugar de Cantabria.los anfitriones son excelentes y muy agradables. una estancia inolvidable

Una estancia inmejorable para unos dias en familia. La casa es estupenda (el interior y el exterior) bien equipada, cómoda y acogedora. Los dueños muy atentos y con muchos detalles (el pan diario en la puerta de casa...) y la casa está muy bien situada para hacer planes familiares.

Familienurlaub

Wir haben unseren Familienurlaub (zwei Erwachsene, drei Teenager) genossen. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und haben uns alles persönlich gezeigt. Im grosszügig angelegten Haus haben wir uns sofort wohlgefühlt, jedes Kind hatte ein eigenes Zimmer. Das Haus ist mit allem Nötigen ausgestattet, es gab sogar Spielsachen und Bücher, die Betten sind gut. Die Terrasse und der weitläufige Garten sind wunderschön, wir durften auch den Gemüsegarten und den Tischtennistisch nutzen. Gelegentliches Hundegebell in der weiteren Nachbarschaft, ansonsten ist es sehr ruhig. Mit dem Auto sind herrliche Strände in etwa 35 min erreichbar, besonders gefiel uns Oyambre. Empfehlenswert auch der Besuch der Höhlen Cuevas de El Castillo und Las Monedas ganz in der Nähe (in der Hauptsaison im Voraus buchen).

Great getaway house in the countryside

This is a great renovated stone house in the countryside. The house has a very nice garden with fruits and vegetables that you can pick, we got daily fresh made bread for our breakfast and property furnished. The house has a fully equipes kitchen and everything you need for a confortable stay. Thomas the owner was very friendly and helpful to make sure we settled in nicely. Great location to go around Cantabria for the best places to visit. This is the type of home that you get away from everything and rest. The area is also great for biking and hiking. There are good grocery stores and nice restaurants close by. Highly recommend for anyone who is looking for a countryside resting experience.

Merece la pena

La estancia ha sido muy agradable y la casa está situada en un sitio muy tranquilo pero a poca distancia de lugares de Cantabria que hay que visitar al menos una vez en la vida. Lo recomendamos.

Lovely spacious clean house

Character Property is well maintained and in a rural mountain location 40mins south of Santander. Lovely gardens and outdoor area. Easy parking. Table tennis table. Comes with everything you would expect to have as standard.

Perfecta para reunión familiar o con amigos

La casa es amplia y comfortable. Nuestra visita fue en verano así que casi todo el tiempo que estuvimos en la casa lo pasamos fuera en el patio/jardín. El jardín es espléndido y está muy bien cuidado (incluso tiene huerto con frutas y verduras; riquísimas). Los niños estuvieron jugando mucho fuera (la casa tiene muchos juguetes tanto para dentro de la casa como para jugar fuera), y algunos adultos también con el tenis de mesa. Dormir se duerme muy bien ya que no hay ruidos, excepto los de algún animal (ranas, vacas) de cuando en cuando. La ubicación está muy bien. La casa está cerca de buenos sitios para pasear o montar en bicicleta, y Ontaneda (5min en coche) tiene de todo. Para visitar Cantabria en familia (3 generaciones juntas), esta casa ha sido todo lo que esperábamos y más. ¡Una pena tener que marcharnos!
