The idyllic Allgäu vacation village of Hochbergle is situated on a hill, the Hochbergle, overlooking the Oberer Lechsee, nestled in a beautiful moorland landscape and offering a breathtaking view of the Ammergau Alps and the Lechsee.

Since the vacation village is built on a hill, many houses are accessible only by stairs, and in most cases, you cannot drive right up to the front door—only to a spot nearby. However, some have ground-level access and parking bays very close to the house; I’d be happy to advise you on this.
Pets are welcome in certain houses, for a fee and by prior arrangement; please note that leashes are required!

Our vacation village is largely car-free. Access is secured by a gate, which opens on your arrival and departure days via license plate recognition.

The vacation village also features a restaurant, which reopened on 1.5.2026.
Open daily except Tuesdays from 4:00 p.m.
Breakfast and lunch are available for groups of 6 or more with advance reservation.
