For a last minute trip, we couldn't beat the location. Less than 10 minutes from Sag Harbor and Bridgehampton main streets as well as from Sagaponack beaches. The space is quaint and offers everything you need, a small kitchenette, a work desk, outdoor space. There was several communications sent regarding privacy and not interacting with other guests on property which I can appreciate but felt excessive.My two biggest complaints and likely why I would not rebook was first the cleanliness of the space. It did not look like it has been thoroughly cleaned prior to our arrival. As a dog friendly place I am usually very understanding as I know when you allow pets and you are by the beach it can be difficult to flip places quickly. But this was different, the bed looked like it had been slept in, the dish towels were brown - just bar towels, too, easy to replace. The bathroom still had hair on the floor and light fixture. Dingy is the word I would use. And it's a shame because the space could be lovely- high ceilings, large windows.Next was the backyard seemed forgotten, it had broken string lights that didn't work. The grill and heater had no propane tanks and there was a hot tub, but ew. A short stay was likely not going to allow us to take advantage of all these amenities but when you're sitting outside looking at broken, dirty chairs and lights, you do begin to question the care they put into the other aspects of the place...like the cleanliness.3 out 5.
