I would absolutely not recommend staying here. This was one of the most frustrating and uncomfortable stays I’ve experienced. The property itself was not very clean, but the bigger problem was the complete lack of communication and the issues with accessing the property. The lockbox code we were given was incorrect. I contacted the host multiple times to let them know the code did not work, but received absolutely no response. There was no phone number provided to call for help. We were left to deal with the problem ourselves and ultimately had to use tools to pry the lockbox open just to get inside. The checkout experience was even more concerning. At exactly 11:00 a.m., while we were leaving with our bags and walking toward our car, a stranger was waiting across the street and aggressively yelling at us in a language we did not understand. We had to pull out a translator app just to figure out what they wanted. They were demanding to know where the key was, even though we had left it at the property exactly as we had been instructed. Our car was not parked nearby, so we were carrying our belongings and trying to walk to the car when this happened. The entire interaction made us feel extremely uncomfortable and unsafe. It is unacceptable to provide an incorrect access code, have no phone number for guests to call, ignore multiple messages asking for help, and then have someone confront guests at checkout over a key that was left exactly where instructed.
