Quietly located, comfortably furnished **** vacation apartments for 2 to 5 people with 2 separate bedrooms, featuring a fully equipped kitchenette with Wi-Fi, satellite TV, radio, coffee maker, oven, glass-ceramic cooktop, dishes, dishwasher, refrigerator and freezer, shower/toilet (some with a full bathroom), hair dryer, toaster, and electric kettle. Achslach is located in the Bavarian Forest Nature Park, surrounded by beautiful meadows and forests, not far from Bodenmais and the Arber. There is a Kneipp pool in town. Horseback riding is available at a nearby riding school. Fishing is available nearby and in the Regen River near Viechtach, as well as in the Danube near Deggendorf. A newly built fitness room and a solarium are available. Outdoor and indoor swimming pools, as well as a newly built water park near Deggendorf, are attractions for young and old alike and can be reached in about 20 minutes by car. Day trips to Passau, the “City of Three Rivers,” or to the Western-themed town of Pullman City and the museum village of Tittling are possible.

Excellent winter sports conditions, groomed cross-country trails. Quiet location with plenty of forest at approximately 700 meters above sea level. Ideal area for cross-country skiing and tobogganing. Our on-site Kalteck ski lift offers two runs for beginners and advanced skiers, as well as a ski school, ski equipment, and ski rentals, and is about a 5-minute drive away. Beautiful cross-country trails, some right next to the house. Furthermore, the well-known winter sports areas of St. Englmar, Geißkopf, and Arber are about a 20- to 35-minute drive away. Ice skating and snowshoeing are also possible. An ideal hiking, leisure, and recreation area for young and old alike. Outdoor and indoor swimming pools are about a 10- to 15-minute drive away, and a newly built water park near Deggendorf is about a 10- to 20-minute drive away. You can take lovely day trips to the Arber, Passau, Regensburg, Bad Kötzting, or the “Bäderdreieck” (spa triangle) of Bad Füssing, Bad Griesbach, and Bad Birnbach. Glassblowing workshops in Bodenmais or Frauenau, or a trip to the Western-themed town of Pullmann City, are also worth visiting.
Golf: This golf course near Deggendorf is about a 20-minute drive away. Course description: The Rusel, located in the immediate vicinity of Deggendorf, forms a scenically beautiful part of the foothills of the Bavarian Forest. The fairways, harmoniously integrated into the natural landscape, alternate between flat stretches, gentle slopes, and moderate inclines. Bubbling streams and two natural ponds have been skillfully incorporated into the course as natural water hazards. Here and there, wonderful views open up, inviting you to linger. The nearest golf course near Straubing is about a 25-minute drive away.
