The Space:

Tucked away in the secluded gated community of Kingston Cove at Shipyard Plantation, this updated 3BR/2BA home was featured on HGTV's 'Island Life' in 2019. Take a stress-free soak in your private hot tub or walk next door for a dip in the seasonal resort-style pool. Lounge or dine in the screened sunroom or get some sun on the open deck.



Enjoy picturesque landscaping as you explore the bike trails of Hilton Head Island. This home is located less than a mile from Shipyard Beach and just 3 miles to Coligny Beach.



LIVING AREA



Make yourself at home in a stylish open living area that boasts coastal-chic decor and new furnishings as well as wood floors throughout. Unwind with a movie on the 55-inch TV. There's seating for six on the sofa, love seat, and chair.



KITCHEN & DINING



The modern kitchen features wooden cabinetry, granite countertops, and tile floors. A full suite of stainless steel appliances includes a dishwasher, microwave, and gas range. When it's time to eat, there's seating for six at the dining room table.



BED & BATH



Find peace and tranquility in a primary suite furnished with a king bed, 42-inch TV, and an en suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. The second guest room includes a king bed and 43-inch TV, while the third bedroom is furnished with a double bed, twin over full with a twin trundle, and a TV. The guest bathroom is configured with a tub/shower combination.



OUTDOOR AREAS



The spacious screened sunroom overlooks a pond and features a lounge area replete with a 50-inch flat-screen TV and comfy seating on a couch and two chairs, as well as a six-seat dining table. Just off the sunroom is an open deck with seating for two.



Underneath the sunroom, you'll find your own private hot tub, as well as an adjacent patio and grill, perfect for afternoon cookouts

Guest amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi, cable TV, and a washer/dryer. There is parking available for up to three vehicles -- two in the driveway and one in overflow parking.



This home is accessible by one flight of stairs and may not be ideal for guests with mobility issues.



Please note, the community pool located next to the home is unheated and open seasonally from March until October.

Nice place. Great neighborhood.

The Shipyard community is great. Kingston Cove is a quiet, family friendly spot. We rented bikes, and it was quick ride to the beach. The kids loved it. There’s a lagoon behind the house, and we all enjoyed watching the wildlife come and go. And the pool is a huge bonus. We had a great stay.

Great house!

The house is set up well, master on one side of the living room, and bedrooms on the other. Modern kitchen, plenty of cookware and dishes. Air conditioning easily keeps it nice inside. Community pool right next door kept up well. Hot tub, grill, 15 minute walk to neighborhood beach. Shipyard golf course awesome and 3 min drive. 10 mins to Coligny beach, shopping, restaurants. I will stay here every summer I can!

Great location and nice unit

The unit was in a great location. Very easy to get to everything on the island. Other than a few dishes being dirty and the smart lock acting up a bit it was a great stay.

Outstanding Beach House and Customer Service

From the moment we moved in until our checkout 2 weeks later, Steve and Tracy’s house was the perfect Hilton Head vacation spot. Walking distance to the beach and to the Shipyard golf clubhouse made it very easy to enjoy the area. The layout of the house was perfect for large families. Really enjoyed the hot tub and the screened in back porch. Highly recommend this place!

Overall nice placw

We had a few issues with garbage not collected from the prior guests and the drain in a sink was slow to empty but the email communication was fast and attentive to our concerns. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the villa was comfortable and spacious!

Wonderful Thanksgiving Weekend

This house was a total delight for six of us, all adult family, who stayed for five nights over the Thanksgiving holiday and weekend. The house is completely up to date, with a great kitchen, wonderful living and bedroom spaces, and a fantastic porch. We loved everything about this little vacation home. Minutes to the beach by bike, and beautiful surrounding lagoon is fun to watch birds. It is definitely a "happy place".

Screened in Porch Was Fantastic

The cleaning crew was a little sloppy with the drawers in the bedrooms and bathrooms and the porch table and chairs. Other than that it was very nice and we’d rent it again.

Very nice property

We had a great stay at this property. It was clean and very comfortable and spacious for our family of four. We really enjoyed the screened in porch for our morning breakfast and hanging out in the evening. There were a few small issues….2nd bath shower handle was very hard to turn, and there weren’t any laundry detergent or extra trash bags in the property. Would have been nice to have these little extras like we have had with other properties. Overall, it was a very nice house and we had a great time.

Beautiful Home!

This rental home was even more beautiful in person. The layout was ideal. The biggest attraction for us was the huge screened in porch that included both a dining area, and a sitting area with couch and chairs. The recent remodel lives up to the hype - bathrooms and kitchen were top notch. Small improvements include having a dish pan to wash pans in, and replace all the cheap plastic glassware with regular glass for drinking beverages and wine. The fire table was out of propane. Some of the ceiling fans/lights did not work. It is one of the most attractive places we have stayed at in Shipyard and we loved the location. Would definitely return!

Enjoyable experience!

Our two families that shared the home very much enjoyed our stay. The four kids shared the third bedroom and the two couples each had sufficient space in the other two rooms. The kitchen was fully equipped so that we could bring our k-cups for coffee, bread for toast (toaster), microwave leftovers, pan fry eggs, even bake a frozen pizza!! Everything and everywhere was clean and tidy. Loved the ability to use the washer and dryer as well as a dishwasher. Great location with the pool right next door. Never got to use the hot tub but there is always next time. Private beach access that we got a beach pass for. Only problem was that the shower handle in guest bathroom wasn’t working so we couldn’t have hot water on day 3 and 4 till we realized what the issue was. Management company was quick to respond. We would definitely come back!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was a nice place. Well furnished, exactly as pictured. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you might need from pizza pans to can openers. I'm ridiculous about germs in settings like these, and the place was cleaned well. No stains or carpets or furniture. Just a few smudges on doors/walls/windows and a small spill in the fridge in a weird place that a cleaner couldn't reach, but those are places cleaners don't usually focus on. Had smart TVs for streaming, also. The deck was amazing, good for family meals and lots of friends. Close to a public beach, though we drove down to Sea Pines to meet friends each day. Close to grocery store and restaurants. Lots of walking/running/biking out the front door, also. We had a problem with the air and the property manager was in contact immediately and ready to do whatever we asked to follow up. Very kind and friendly.

Exactly as Advertised!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. Everything in the home was exactly as described. This property is directly next to the swimming pool -- very convenient. We also enjoyed the hot tub. The home is modern, clean, and was actually more spacious than it appeared in photos. It is a short drive to the beach in Shipyard. (The beach is too far to walk.) The rental comes with a beach parking pass. We went to the beach each day we stayed and only had to park in the overflow parking once when arriving at 2 PM (peak time). When we arrived earlier in the day or later in the day, parking up close was no problem. There is a golf cart to bring you to the beach from overflow parking if you time it right. The beach itself is perfect. Couldn't ask for a better beach! We loved walking the paths around the ponds in Shipyard spotting alligators. We were safe and kept our distance, of course. Not being from this area, we found this a treat to view these beautiful creatures. Shipyard itself is very peaceful and quiet. Many families and bicycles. There is a gate with a staff member who will check your parking pass each time you enter the property. It did take some time to learn our way around as it all looked the same at first. By the third day, we had the streets figured out. This is a five star property for us. We would not hesitate to book it again. There are a few things I will mention just to state it so future guests can make the best choice for their family. *The sunroom is fantastic, and we loved it. We had all of our meals out there, and the kids would curl up on the couch at night and watch movies. However, do be aware that it is not air conditioned. *The third bedroom with the double bed and twin bed have very thin mattresses. You can feel the bed frame through the mattress. Kids sleep well anywhere, so it wasn't an issue for them. I wouldn't have wanted to sleep there as an adult. *You can hear pool noise from the home during the day. Again, we have kids and sometimes, it was our kids making the pool noise, so it wasn't an issue. Be aware of the close pool proximity if you are a daytime napper or don't want to hear kids. *The house is stocked only with starter supplies (as it does say in the description). If you are here for 3+ days, you'll need to pick up tp, shampoo, etc. The kitchen is stocked with basic supplies. Nothing beyond that. There are no beach toys or other beach supplies. *The dining room chairs are bar height.

Great House!

House had everything we needed and more. Great for our family and the hot tub made our trip with chilly mornings and nights. We will definitely look for this house again when we visit the island.

Great place for a long weekend getaway!

Our family traveled to Hilton Head from the Charleston area for a long weekend getaway. We traveled with a five year old, three year old and a newborn and it could not have been better! The kids absolutely loved having the choice of pool or beach everyday and both were so convenient. We loved spending each night having drinks, snacks and watching tv on the patio while the kids watched movies in bed! Each room has a tv which is great when traveling with a group. We ate out every night but the kitchen was well equipped and perfectly set up for meals in, as well. We would all recommend this rental to any family looking for a relaxing, laid back stay in Hilton Head!

Great Vacation Home

This house was very nice and conveniently located near the community pool. An added plus was the onsite hot tub. We used the grill a couple of times and it was nice that they had a spare propane tank available. The interior was well appointed and they had all the necessary items to cook meals. They also had 2 coffee makers; one for coffee pods and the other for conventional coffee brewing. The screened-in patio was nice with a dining table and tv area for morning or evening meals and movie watching. I would definitely recommend this home to my friends and stay here again.

Best of everything

This home was clean, well-stocked, and very comfortable. There is plenty of porch seating, fans, and towels. The kitchen looked new, decorations were pretty. The pool is right beside the house so very convenient. We loved bike riding to the beach and plaza but if driving is your thing we never had trouble finding parking. We saw beautiful herons right outside the home every day. We would definitely visit again.

Great place!!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was great for our family of 6. We really enjoyed it. As mentioned in previous reviews the beds/frames in the 3rd bedroom were not as comfortable as the other rooms or as good of quality, but we managed. It would be nice also to have more seating in the living area. The screened in porch was a big hit, especially the table with the fire pit since the weather was cooler. The hot tub was also a favorite. The street was quiet and the walk/ride to the beach was manageable since our kids are all older.
