Third & Oak Estate is a rare full-property stay in downtown Wilmington, combining three private suites into one flexible group experience: The Wright Room, The Downtown Loft, & The Live Oak Suite.

Ideal for families, wedding parties, retreats, or multi-family trips, the property offers 5 bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, separate entrances, multiple kitchens, generous living space, and 8 free parking spaces in a private lot.

This unique setup allows guests to stay together while still enjoying privacy and room to spread out, something large groups rarely find in a walkable downtown location. Guests can easily walk to the Riverwalk, restaurants, bars, shops, and nightlife, with Wrightsville Beach and Carolina Beach also within an easy drive.

The Wright Room is on the first floor, The Live Oak Suite is on the second floor, and The Downtown Loft is a two-story loft.

I’m originally from New Orleans and currently serve on active duty in the military. Outside of work, I’m a musician, a food enthusiast, and someone who appreciates travel, great conversation, and places with a strong sense of character.

As the owner of Third & Oak, I care deeply about creating stays that feel polished, thoughtfully prepared, and genuinely inviting. I love hosting in downtown Wilmington because it gives me the opportunity to share our distinctive estate and suites with guests, along with a part of the city I truly enjoy. My goal is to offer a stay with character, comfort, attentive communication, and a more elevated experience than a standard hotel.

We chose historic downtown Wilmington because it has so much personality! You can walk to the Riverwalk, restaurants, coffee shops, bars, and local spots that make the city feel lively and fun. What we love most is that it feels both energetic and full of character. It gives guests the chance to really experience downtown Wilmington instead of just passing through it.

It’s in the heart of downtown, with a private parking lot, which is a rare amenity, but it also has a feel that is very different from a generic rental. Each suite at Third & Oak has its own personality, and we put care into making sure guests have a comfortable, thoughtful experience from arrival to checkout.
