Escape to your own peaceful retreat in the heart of Carnelian Woods, a serene, wooded enclave in Carnelian Bay on the stunning North Shore of Lake Tahoe, California. This charming 2-bedroom + loft townhome offers the perfect blend of comfort, modern updates, and tranquil mountain living — ideal for couples, small families, or groups seeking a quiet getaway away from the crowds.

The tree room - King sized bed, new carpet, private balcony overlooking the creek. Newly remodeled full bathroom with river rock flooring. Large closet space with closet organizers.

The bear room - Queen sized bed with new carpet and wall mounted TV.

The loft - 2 twin beds with new carpet. Work desk and 43" Smart TV. Large closet space with closet organizers.

The Kitchen - Stocked with everything you need for cooking and dining. Dual Keurig coffee maker, toaster oven, electric stove, oven, and dishwasher.

The living room - Gas fireplace, large comfy sofa, 50" Smart TV, private balcony overlooking the creek.

2 Decks with a view of the beautiful forest. One deck from the main bedroom. The other from the living room. No neighboring decks visible.

Hiking or Snowshoeing - This property backs up to federal forest land. Hiking trails go forever. The Tahoe Rim Trail is about a 3 mile hike away.

Amazing stay in Carnelian Bay! This condo exceeded our expectations. The place was super clean. The condo itself was the perfect size for our group of 6: not too big and not too small. We also loved the overall setting and atmosphere. Jeff was an awesome host. He provided very detailed instructions and house rules, which made everything easy and stress-free from check-in to check-out. Communication was excellent throughout our stay.We would absolutely recommend this place to anyone visiting Lake Tahoe, and if we come back, we’ll definitely book this condo again!

I had a wonderful stay in Lake Tahoe. The room was exactly as described—clean, tidy, and well-maintained, which made for a very comfortable visit. The location was excellent, with a beach, a mini golf course, and a supermarket all conveniently nearby. Everything I needed was within easy reach, making my stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend staying here and would gladly return on a future trip to Lake Tahoe.

I love skiing in the winter and hiking, biking, and paddle boarding in the warmer months.
