Stay in the heart of Oaxaca in this tiny private room with a full bathroom, ideal for one or two people at most. Perfect for travelers looking for comfort, cleanliness, and an unbeatable location, just steps away from the city’s best cafes, markets, and museums.
The room measures 10 m2; the space is quite small, but comfortable for resting and taking a hot shower. Please keep this in mind.

It’s located on the first floor and features a kitchenette, a double bed, and a full bathroom, along with air conditioning, a ceiling fan, a mini-fridge, a microwave, and kitchen supplies: a sink, a grill, dishes, and cooking utensils.

We have a laundry area, which is a common space shared with other guests staying in the other apartments in the complex; use of this area is provided at no additional cost.

The room is located in a gated complex that shares access with four other apartments, which share a common patio with tables; however, you will not have access to that area. Access to the complex is via a small plaza with craft shops and a café; the café offers breakfast delivery to the apartment. Once you pass through the gate, proceed through the wicker doors to the back. That is the area designated for your apartment. You may use the shared bathrooms and laundry facilities, but please do not enter the courtyard, as it is an area that may be reserved by entire groups, and you do not have access to it.

Oaxaca’s historic center is the best part of the city to start and end your tour of all the tourist attractions Oaxaca has to offer. You can easily explore the historic center on foot. There is public transportation to most nearby towns, or you can book a tour in the area to explore various sites.

SAFETY:
Our properties have a night security guard who can assist our guests with whatever they need. If a neighbor is making too much noise, please let us know, and we’ll send the security guard immediately to ensure the rules are followed.

NOISE POLICY:
Oaxaca’s historic center is a multicultural place, full of traditions and delicious food; an essential part of our customs includes folklore and music, which can often cause unexpected noise during celebrations. In addition, some residents have dogs as guard animals and some farm animals, such as roosters.
This may disturb your sleep; with this in mind, we make sure to provide earplugs in the first-aid kit and a white noise machine that you can use if needed.

CLIMATE CHANGE:
Dear guest, when confirming your reservation, please check the weather forecasts for our city during the dates you plan to visit, so you can get an idea of the current temperature and whether you should expect rain or other weather events. This will help enhance your experience, and remember that, as mentioned above, we only have air conditioning in the bedrooms, not in the common areas

Guest Policies

I. ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF THE RULES

These guest rules will be in effect from May 2025 through May 2026, during which time the guest expressly and tacitly acknowledges, upon making a reservation, that they accept and are fully aware of these rules, agree to all the points mentioned herein, and are obligated to read them and act in accordance with them.

II. PAYMENT FOR ACCOMMODATIONS

A reservation is confirmed only upon receipt of at least 20% of the total amount for accommodations, including taxes. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the start of the stay; if the remaining balance is not received, the reservation will be immediately canceled, releasing AALOJAT from any liability to the guest, The minimum 20% required as a deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE after the dates specified in the policies.

III. CHECK-IN

Check-in time for the room is from 3:00 p.m. onward, and check-out time must be no later than 11:00 a.m. Management reserves the right to grant an early check-in if the property is available earlier, as well as to grant a late check-out if availability exists for the desired date; however, there is no obligation to grant these benefits even if the guest requests them.

IV. PROPERTY CARE

We recommend that you review the room inventory upon arrival, as, at checkout, it will be inspected, and in the event of any missing items or damage, the guest will be responsible for covering the cost, which will be charged in Mexican pesos to replace the item or repair the damage.

V. USE OF UTILITIES

Utilities (water, electricity, gas, etc.) provided by the owners must be used in good faith; wasteful or excessive use of these services is not included in the price, as this helps us keep rates affordable and protect the environment; All guests are required to close windows, entry doors, and water valves, and to turn off lights and air conditioners when leaving the room.

VI. PROPERTY CLEANING

The company’s properties offer different included services, as well as amenities, locations, and designs. Not all properties include cleaning services; however, you can confirm whether or not this applies to your stay in the manual sent to you for check-in. In that document, you can see whether you are entitled to this service or if you must pay a fee. If cleaning is included, you must request it in advance, and it will be performed between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. at the latest. Guests may opt for daily cleaning or accept the hosts’ suggestion. We recommend making the request well in advance, as it is subject to availability. Guests who do not make their rooms available during those hours will not receive cleaning services. Linens, such as towels and bed sheets, will be replaced after a 7-day stay, at which time the room will also be cleaned. If you require them before this date, there will be an additional charge. Stains on sheets that can be easily removed will incur an additional charge of MXN $50.00 per item. (Face towels are excluded.) Linen items that cannot be stain-removed (due to hair dye, paint, rust, sauce, permanent markers, etc.) will be charged at the cost of a new item in Mexican pesos; we will inform you of the amount if this occurs. VII. SECURITY MEASURES WITHIN THE ROOM

Any item or cash valued at more than $ $250.00 must be reported to management before the start of the stay, so that their existence can be verified and a record made that they will be in the room. Guests must store their valuables in the safes located on the properties. Management is not responsible for the loss or misplacement of items or cash left in guest rooms or in the public areas of the properties that have not been registered.

VIII. LOST AND FOUND ITEMS

Items or valuables left behind by a guest at any of our properties’ facilities will be held by management for up to fifteen days; after which they will be disposed of as lost property. If a guest wishes to recover them, the shipping costs will be borne by the guest, who agrees to pay an additional 25% to cover the time spent by our employees on this additional task.

IX. SILENCE AND RESPECT FOR OTHER GUESTS AND HOTEL STAFF

Starting at 9:00 p.m., noise levels must be kept to a minimum in all rooms and units. Please also respect the nighttime quiet hours in the hallways, stairwells, and common areas, avoiding any behavior that may disturb other guests at the resort, including loud music and loud conversations. Parties are prohibited unless the entire resort has been rented out. In the event of a violation of the preceding provision, if the guest is asked to end the party or gathering and refuses to do so, management is authorized to terminate the stay immediately without any possibility of a refund. If we are unable to contact the guest, a fine of MXN $1,500.00 s will be imposed, which must be paid in cash before the day of checkout. Otherwise, a payment request will be submitted through the app.

X. DAMAGE, DIRTY ROOMS, LOST KEYS

In the event of damage to the property or its furnishings, or if keys are lost, the person responsible must pay for the damage caused. (Cost per lost key: $20). Payments of this type must be made immediately in cash, by credit card, or via a payment link (the person who made the reservation is responsible for these payments). Theft or intentional damage will be reported immediately to the police, and management is authorized to terminate the stay at that time with no possibility of a refund. It is prohibited to engage in any act that causes damage or harm to the property or to other guests, or to engage in conduct contrary to decorum or social behavior.
