It was a nice place but it was lacking. Parking area was a material that you tracked into the house. There was nothing to wipe your feet on. There was a broom to sweep it up with but no dust pan to pick it up with. Front step was a little high and only a big post to try to hang on to. There was trash on one of the bedside tables that was quite obvious. It might be fine for some people but not for us.

We actually did not complete the stay at this rental. When we drove up, there were homeless people in front of the property and behind the fence just beside the property. We contacted the host and VRBO because as two ladies, we did not feel safe, staying there for the night. We did not check in and did not enter the property at all. I honestly cannot give an accurate description of what the property was like inside because we didn’t go in. Had we known that there was homeless population just feet from the residence we would not have booked it. The owner and VRBO refused to give us our money back saying that if we went in and locked the doors, we should be safe. They also told us if anyone was knocking on the doors in the middle of the night. All we needed to do was call owner.I don’t know if this is a common issue all the time or temporary, but it was enough to make us feel unsafe in the environment
