Unique and fun

Booked for my daughters 17th bday, stayed with 4 daughters. It was St pattys day weekend so was very loud from the bar below as expected. Parking was difficult however the host responded with advice right away and ended up being not a big deal at all! The loft was beautifully decorated. The b day girl loved the hanging bed ! Would stay here again !!!

Family Getaway

Spent 3 nights at this property with son, daughter-in-law & grandchildren and had a great time ringing in the New Year! We loved the large table for playing games & the overall spaciousness of the loft. The location was convenient for us to walk to local establishments for food & drinks. Dave was very responsive to all questions & requests. Would definitely stay here again!

Great stay.

Place was very unique, clean, and had everything we needed. Great communication with the owner. Easy to book, check in, and check out. Only downside as listed and other reviews is that it is above a bar. During our Monday though Thursday night stay could hear the music thumping until about 11:30 PM. Would definitely stay there again.

Perfect place for a small group!

The owner's communication was clear and extremely thorough. I sincerely appreciated all the detail included. The loft was gorgeously designed and decorated, and a pleasure to stay in. The beds and bedding were wonderful and gave us all a restful night's sleep. The next time I come to Wichita, I'll be checking for availability here first!

Training

We utilized this property for 1 night while we were in town for a training. The property owner was very kind and easy to get ahokd of for any questions we had. The loft had plenty of room to sleep everyone. Nice tv to watch the games on. The air conditioning definitely worked well. The only complaint was the smell of tacos from the restaurant. We had a great time. It was a great location and easy walking distance to the Pump House.

If you love history you will love this place!

This was a beautiful historical loft in Old Town. Lots restaurants/bars and shops within walking distance. Love the old industrial themed furnishings. Amazing master suite. Loved the swinging bed. This loft had every thing you would need. Owner was extremely nice and communicated well. This is the perfect place to stay in Wichita. Love Love Love The Gashaw’s from Tennessee

excellent place

Home was above what we expected. Great location and close to many restaurants and night clubs. this location is great for a business trip or when traveling with adults only. Be mindful that Music is loud at night and if traveling with little kids or infants it would be hard for them to fall asleep.

Most Awesome Place Ever!

Pictures do not do this place justice!!! Everything from furniture to decor was spectacularly awesome! We could not stop taking pictures at such a beautiful place. We were expecting Ashton Kutcher or Eric Church to walk out of a room at any time as this place is movie/video quality! Instructions were detailed and spot on. The location is extremely convenient within walking distance to everything you want to see. We loved it!

Neat place

Great place for hanging out with some work friends while in Wichita. The hanging bed was interesting, loved the old brick and exposed rafters. Will definitely be back.

Excellent Experience!

This was a very pleasant, stress free experience. My family and I came to town to take in the show and see Wichita. This apartment is centrally located and close to main roads as well as highway access allowing us to get around town easily. The owner reached out just before our visit to give final instructions. The property was easy to find and easy to access. We were very pleased with the accommodations. Very spacious, very clean and very interesting. The old brick walls and wood floors and decorations were very charming. The bedrooms were all very large with plenty of room for all of us to spread out. The living room and kitchen area were well set up for time we wanted to spend together. There were plenty of TVs and internet access was good. The owners seem to think of everything. There was a welcome book with suggestions of places to go places to eat etc as well as a gift certificate for the bar and grill located below this apartment. We stayed on a Sunday night and did not notice much noise from downstairs. I would imagine that Friday night and Saturday nights would be different, but I don't know for sure. The bar and grill located below the apartment was well staffed with delightful people who were very helpful and food that was delicious. I don't know if he's too establishments are connected, but they work well together. I would highly recommend this property and will most likely visit again.

Spacious and convenient

Normally we don’t hang out too much in a rented place, but this loft is so spacious and fun to hang out in. Lots of great food and bars in walking distance. The noise was not a factor for us so if you’re thinking about not renting because of some other reviews on the noise, just know it’s not deafening. Plus, you can make as mush noise as you want and no one can hear you! The hosts were very responsive to questions. If there is one negative is that the kitchen could use a few more cups/glasses.

Great Stay

We were very happy with our stay. We felt we were in a safe place with lots of fun stuff around us. The bar underneath was fun and had yummy food. The loft was SO cool and we loved how it was set up. We loved our voucher and the information book. It was a fabulous stay, we loved it!

Wow! Such a neat space!

My friends and I were in town for a concert at Intrust Bank Area. This condo is close (walking distance) to all the fantastic restaurants and bars that Old Town offers, as well as the arena. The decor and vibe of this apartment is unlike anywhere I have stayed!! Such a fun atmosphere…Awesome place…would stay again and again!! Perfect for a couples, friends, or bachelor/bachelorette party!

PERFECT pad

The place is in a wonderful downtonw location and is within walking distance of all the bars and activities. I would highly recomend to anyone.

Cool but noisy

The owner is very responsive and organized. The space was amazing however the location is above a very noisy bar and the smell of the fryer from the bar kitchen permeates into the Vrbo. You can also hear conversations from the bar through the brick walls near the stairwell and bar noise through the entire property. There appeared to be foot traffic on the back stairwell on the weekend. Friday and Saturday nights were exceptionally loud until about 2:15 am when everyone leaves the bar and you can hear them yelling since the windows don’t close completely. It is very bright in the main bedroom as the shutters let light in from the street lights and business signage. We didn’t feel the entry door was well secured and could use a dead bolt on the inside. The neighborhood has a small homeless population that can be seen and heard in the early morning from time to time and parking may be difficult to find on Friday and Saturday night if returning to the location later in the evening. Despite the location it is a great space with lots of room and amenities.

Super Cool Loft Vibe

If you are looking for the urban, loft vibe, this is it. Open, spacious, brick, industrial. Great job on the decor. Host was very responsive. As other reviews have mentioned, it is over a bar, but noise wasn't a problem for us as we weren't there on a weekend. The smell of food does tend to waft up through the floor, however. One word of advice: The hanging bed in the front bedroom is not for everyone; kids may enjoy sleeping on it more than parents. All in all, a fun place to stay.

Great location and trendy loft!

We only stayed one night but I wish we could’ve stayed longer! The loft was clean, well decorated with a trendy industrial style vibe, stocked with plenty of bathroom and kitchen necessities, and has gigantic windows with a great view of Douglas Avenue. It’s located right above a bar/restaurant so it’s very convenient for food or drinks. The beds were comfortable and the master bedroom bed was neat to sleep on since it’s suspended from the ceiling!! The owner was very quick to respond to texts and offered lots of suggestions when I asked about local bars. We’ll definitely be staying here again!!
