Cozy time-out at the Drei-Brüder-Hof

Our cozy vacation rental, “Max,” is located in a half-timbered house with a separate entrance and is accessible via an outdoor staircase. The apartment is designed to accommodate up to 4 people. The natural sandstone walls and exposed beams give this apartment a very special charm. It features a fully equipped, open kitchen with a range hood. Here you’ll find a stove with an oven, a coffee maker, a toaster, all kinds of pots and pans, and much more.<br>The living room adjoins the open kitchen. The living room is furnished with a dining table, a sofa for relaxing, a TV, and plenty of books to read. A staircase leads up to the sleeping loft with a double bed. The children’s room, with two single beds, is right next to the living room. The private parking spot is located directly in front of the house.<br>You can check in at 4:00 PM on the day of arrival and must check out by 10:00 AM on the day of departure. Exceptions to these times are possible by arrangement.<br>The Drei-Brüder-Hof is located in Saxon Switzerland, not far from the Eastern Ore Mountains, in the municipality of Rosenthal-Bielathal. The famous Hercules Pillars are less than a 30-minute walk away, and many hiking trails begin right behind the house. You can cross the German-Czech border via hiking trails in just a few minutes. In the vacation home, you’ll find many suggestions for additional hikes that we’ve already taken ourselves. If it’s too hot to go hiking in the summer, you can cool off for free at the natural swimming pool in the village.<br>In the fall, you can gather plenty of porcini mushrooms and chestnuts in the surrounding forests. The village itself has a well-stocked grocery store, a butcher shop, and Rosenthaler honey available fresh from the honey dispenser. If you’re craving a cold beer after a strenuous hike, you’ll find refuge at the rustic “Erbgericht” inn. In winter, you can sit comfortably by the fireplace, and in summer, in the garden.<br>Right next to the Drei-Brüder-Hof is a nature-oriented riding stable. Whether you’re interested in one riding lesson or several, you can really enjoy yourself here, no matter your age. No prior experience is required.<br>If the weather is bad, it’s also worth taking a trip to the thermal baths in Bad Schandau (30 minutes by car) or to Dresden’s Old Town (one hour by car).
