The floor plan features a primary suite with a luxurious king bed and soaking tub, a cozy full bedroom, and a third room with two twins. A second full bathroom with a tub/shower provides essential convenience for families traveling with children. Keep your eyes peeled for local wildlife; the backyard is home to several apple trees that attract deer in droves, offering a front-row seat to nature right from your windows. Step out onto your private wooden deck—the perfect spot for morning coffee or evening stargazing among the trees. Your stay is completely private with a dedicated entrance via the deck stairs, while your hosts live in the separate downstairs unit and fully respect your quiet enjoyment of the property. We loved staying at this beautiful property. The place was immaculately kept and had all the necessary things and information for our stay. The hosts were warm and helpful and we throughly enjoyed our stay. Look out for their recommendations, we loved a couple of restaurants they suggested.

There is nothing fancy or luxurious here - just an excellent, super clean and comfortable space to have as a great place to come home to at the end of the day. Very quiet area, the beds were very comfortable and plenty of space to relax. Would 100% stay here again! Thank you Ashley & Ben!

We loved it stay at the quiet side! The island itself was bigger than we anticipated so it took about 20 minutes or so to get where we wanted, but it's certainly isn't an issue. The place was clean, beds were comfortable, details were perfect. We would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I attended a wedding in Bar Harbor and decided to stay in Tremont ME. We did this because all the places in Bar Harbor were taken. Unknowingly we not only found a place that was reasonably priced, it was also clean, comfortable, had everything we needed, it was quite, peaceful, and convenient to Bar Harbor. Our hosts were easy to communicate with through vrbo app and responded quickly. My wife and I agree it was a pleasant and peaceful stay. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Bar Harbor.

The home was very nice. Everything you need to stay was available. The deck was a little difficult to navigate due to the first step being very high and only one railing. The area was very pretty and we saw buck, deer and doe almost every morning. Wish the fire pit wasn't so far from the house. Simple but tasteful decor. The bathrooms were adequate however one shower stall was very small and the floors were slippery in the showers. The commodes were low so if you had a hip replacement as two of our party did so you might have some difficulty. Otherwise beautiful stay

We had a wonderful stay! The home had everything we needed for our family of 6. It was so clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The location worked well for our family to explore the whole island. Having Southwest Harbor so close was very convenient for food, coffee and ice cream! We loved the hikes at Ship Harbor Trail and Wonderland and did a Lobster and Nature Boat Tour out of Bass Harbor that was a real highlight. Long Pond was perfect to cool off with a quick dip a couple times during our stay and we rented kayaks one evening to paddle around. It was also easy to get to the other side of the island and Bar Harbor, which we did every day. The hosts were very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. We didn't hear them or see them throughout our stay. Acadia was beautiful; we'll be back again!

Property was exactly as described…even better. The kids were raving about how comfortable the beds were. We agree! The supplies to get a good camp fire going and make smores were a wonderful touch. Staying on the “quiet side” of the island made everything so peaceful. And it was still very easy to get everywhere we wanted to go. Excellent 10/10. Would definitely stay again!

Fantastic 3/2 home! Went to Maine for a girls trip and this property was perfect. Incredibly clean property in a very quiet location, and was a short drive to everything. The host, Ashley, was extremely responsive to all my inquiries. You couldn’t ask for a better host. I would definitely stay at this location again.

This is a great property. We stayed for a long weekend and found it to be well equipped with kitchen items. It was clean, quiet and private. It's about a 25 minute drive to Bar Harbor. This was not an issue for us, as we prefer to stay in the less busy areas of MDI and there are various points of access to Acadia. The hosts add a lot of nice touches that you dont always find at other places. The grill was cleaned and maintained with nice for no extra cost. There was wood provided for the fire pit and a welcome basket to full of s'mores items, bug spray and a citronella candle, etc. most of the rooms had an air conditioner for when it got warm in the middle of the day. I would definitely recommend this property as it offers a lot and was fairly priced.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The property was clean, quiet, and very comfortable. The thoughtful touches were especially appreciated—from the bug spray provided to the fire pit with wood. We also loved the s’mores supplies, which made for a perfect evening experience.One of our favorite memories was sitting by the fire, gazing at the star-filled sky while watching fireflies dance across the field. We were even treated to sightings of deer, which made the setting feel truly special and peaceful.This was a wonderful place to relax and unwind, and we would happily stay here again. Highly recommend!

Ashley grew up right here on the island and teaches at the elementary school, so she’s the true local of the two of us. Ben is an engineer who’s usually busy with a project or planning our next hiking trip.
