Whether relaxing indoors or planning your day, this superb home provides a welcoming retreat. The kitchenette has everything you need to meet all your cooking needs. There is a washer/dryer combo. Wifi is available and a smart tv. Hyde Haven is only a 10 minute drive to Mattamuskeet Lake and the Wildlife Refuge. It is a 25 minute drive to the Ocracoke Ferry. The Outer Banks is an easy 55 minute drive. Whether you're hunting or fishing or just wanting to get away Hyde Haven is a great place to make your home.(Pet Policy-no pets are allowed inside but can be contained in fenced in Patio outside}

We have lived in Engelhard for over 53 years. Engelhard is a very laid back quite community. It's a commercial fishing and farming area. Mattamuskeet Refuge is the home of thousands of migrating birds in the fall and winter. Also the sports fishing is great with the Pamlico Sound available with a public boat ramp. We love and take advantage of the surrounding area. We love living here and I'm sure you will love being here too.
