The Space:

The Lone Palm is a bright and thoughtfully designed Oak Island vacation rental with 1,470 square feet of elevated single-level living. Inside, you will find an open-concept layout with cathedral ceilings, modern finishes, comfortable furnishings, and all the essentials for a smooth beach stay. With three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, an outdoor shower, a fully stocked kitchen, in-home laundry, and linens provided, this home is set up for couples, families, and small groups looking for a relaxing Oak Island beach getaway.

The primary suite features a king bed, Smart TV, ceiling fan, dresser storage, walk-in closet, and a private ensuite bath with dual vanities and a tiled walk-in shower. The guest bedroom includes a queen bed, Smart TV, dresser, and extra linens for the sleeper sofa. The bunk room is especially great for families, with a full-over-full bunk bed, Smart TV, toys, a pack-n-play, and an extra twin air mattress with linens. In the living room, the queen memory foam sleeper sofa and comfortable seating make it easy to unwind after a day at the beach.

The kitchen is fully equipped for everything from quick breakfasts to family dinners, with a Keurig coffee maker, air fryer, blender, toaster, food processor, cookware, dinnerware, drinkware, and pantry basics. The Lone Palm sits in a convenient mid-island Oak Island location that makes it easy to enjoy both the beach and the quieter natural side of the island. Oak Island is known for its laid-back, family-friendly feel, uncrowded shoreline, and more than 60 public beach access points, giving guests plenty of ways to enjoy the sand and surf during their stay. The island also offers fishing piers, boating, kayak launches, and scenic spots along the Intracoastal Waterway and Davis Canal, which help make Oak Island one of the most versatile beach destinations in Brunswick County.

Nearby, guests can explore the Davis Canal pedestrian crossovers and boardwalk areas, which feature marsh views, fishing areas, benches, and nature viewing. Oak Island is also close to favorite local attractions like the Oak Island Nature Center, Middleton Park, and the Oak Island Lighthouse in neighboring Caswell Beach. When you want a change of pace, Southport is nearby for waterfront dining, boutiques, galleries, and coastal history.



Getting Around:

One of the best ways to get around? A golf cart. It’s a local favorite for cruising to the beach, grabbing a bite, or catching a sunset—easy, breezy, and very Oak Island.



Getting around Oak Island is easy from this mid-island location. Your stay includes the golf cart, it is one of the best ways to enjoy the island like a local, whether you are heading to the beach, exploring different access points, or cruising out for dinner. By car, you can quickly reach multiple public beach access locations, fishing areas, local shops, and restaurants across the island. Oak Island’s many access points and scenic canal crossovers make it especially easy to explore more than one part of the island during your stay.

If you prefer to get around on foot, this area also makes it easy to enjoy a slower pace. Stroll toward the scenic crossover, spend time along the shoreline, or explore the Davis Canal side of the island for marsh views and a quieter coastal feel. From here, you are also well positioned for a quick drive to Caswell Beach, the Oak Island Lighthouse, and charming downtown Southport for waterfront restaurants and shopping.



Other Things to Note:

A Note on Coastal Living

Weather on the coast can be unpredictable- summer storms and occasional hurricanes are part of the experience. Refunds are not provided for weather-related travel changes unless a mandatory evacuation is issued. Travel insurance is strongly recommended.



Golf Cart is provided with booking when available. Golf cart usage requires any driver to have a valid driver's license. Minors without a driver's license are prohibited from driving the cart. Anyone under the influence of drugs or alcohol is prohibited from driving the cart. Guests accept full responsibility for liability and damages to the cart during their stay. Keys will be provided to guests only after requirements are met.



Hot Tub will be serviced in accordance with NC state health department requirements. Access must be provided to the technician.

Lawn care is also scheduled out long in advance and may fall during your visit.



Coolbnbs, the property owner, and approved contractors or service providers may access the property during a guest stay when needed for maintenance, repairs, inspections, appraisals, pest treatments, pool or hot tub service, lawn care, or other standard professional appointments related to the care, safety, or operation of the property.

Guests will be notified in advance whenever reasonably possible, except in the case of an emergency or urgent property-related matter. Guest approval is not required for necessary property access, and no refund, credit, discount, or other compensation will be provided due to Coolbnbs, the owner, or approved service providers entering the property during a stay.
