Oak Cabin @ Little River Hideout - Two Story Cabin w/Huge Deck Overlooking River
Welcome to Oak Cabin at Little River Hideout, your quiet mountain retreat near Weiss Lake and Little River Canyon Falls. We fell in love with the property at Little River Hideout, located between Little River and a beautiful cotton field and wanted to build a place that we could share with everyone. We love this area of Northeast Alabama and all that it has to offer. Come and stay in our cabin and enjoy a slice of quiet mountain life.
We like coming here to enjoy the beautiful views, calming presence of nature, large number of local waterfalls, and Weiss Lake that is nearby, and we hope that you enjoy it as much as we do. Oak Cabin is perfect for people looking to get out and explore the local area or for boaters heading to Weiss Lake.
The two-story cabin is very open with a sitting area with large sofa, TV, and high-speed Internet. The kitchenette has a beautiful live edge countertop and comes equipped with a Keurig coffee maker, mini refrigerator, combo microwave/air fryer/oven, and a hot plate for all of your needs. Upstairs there is a queen sized bed, with convenient outlets located in the headboard, making it easy to keep your devices charged overnight. The sofa has a sofa bed that pulls out to accommodate additional guests. We provide towels and soap and shampoo for the shower.
Perhaps the best feature is the large raised deck surrounded by trees overlooking Little River (running seasonally). With the sounds of the flowing river on one side and a large cotton field on the other, it's easy to just spend all day relaxing and forget to go see the sights of the local area. We have a nice fire ring built up near the river to enjoy a campfire as you wind down for the evening. We have firewood available on-site for $10/day or you can bring your own.
The cabin you are booking is completely private and your own, and you also have your own outdoor space that is just for you to use. We do have a second cabin on the property and the two cabins share a driveway and are about 25 yards apart.

Adam is from Baton Rouge and he met Nick and Crystal years ago while working on his cabin along Johnnie's Creek. They became fast friends and several years later Little River Hideout was born. We love working together to share our love of the area with guests and travelers and help expose more people to the beauty around northeast Alabama.
