Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The house was beautiful, very clean, and nicely decorated. I especially loved having both a shower and a bathtub, which made the stay feel more relaxing and comfortable.There were a few things that could be improved. The TV seemed like it may be nearing the end of its life—I had to get up and manually turn it on, and the top of the screen was fuzzy, almost as if it had previous damage. We were also only provided with two bath towels, which wasn’t quite enough for our stay. Additionally, the hot water didn’t get as hot as I would have liked and didn’t stay hot very long, which was disappointing since I enjoy taking both baths and long showers.The host was very friendly and pleasant to deal with, but response times were slower than I’m accustomed to when communicating with hosts.Despite those issues, the home itself was lovely, clean, and comfortable, and we had an overall good stay.

With Panamanian and Hispanic roots, hospitality has always been a big part of how we were raised. Our home was always open to friends and family, and we wanted to bring that same feeling here. This space was designed so you can settle in, feel comfortable, and make it your own during your stay.

Highland Heights is one of Houston’s up-and-coming neighborhoods, with a mix of new builds and long-standing character. It’s tucked in a residential area near Garden Oaks and Oak Forest, but still close to everything. You’re about 15 minutes from Downtown, The Heights, and easy access to major highways like I-45, 610, and 290. It felt like the right balance, quiet and local, but connected to everything you need.

The space blends a modern feel with subtle Texas-inspired details. You’ll see it in the textures, tones, and small design choices throughout. Marble floors and countertops, gold finishes, a soaking tub, and a clean no-carpet layout keep everything feeling elevated and easy. The backyard is fully turfed for a polished outdoor space, and there’s even an accent wall set up for recording if needed. It’s simple, intentional, and designed to feel good the moment you walk in.
