Just a few meters from the chalet is the Calidarium: a serpentine stone hot tub from Valmalenco in a renovated old barn. The Calidarium is available only on request and for an extra fee.
The chalet is accessible by car; the last 3 kilometers are on a winding, unlit mountain road, which requires extra caution and is not suitable for regular traffic. This is a private road, and if arriving by car, a permit is required, available for an extra fee.
There is roadside parking; from there, a 5–7 minute walk along a mountain path leads to the chalet. We recommend bringing simple, sturdy luggage (no trolleys). No shuttle service is provided.
The town of Chiavenna, awarded the Touring Club Italia’s Orange Flag, is 8 km away (20 minutes by car). The nearest supermarkets, restaurants, bars, and shops are in Chiavenna.
