Surrounded by vibrant perennials, relaxed beneath a vines covered pergola beside a tranquil stream, flows into a pond. Windows invite the outdoors in with natural light and forest like view. Whether you are here to unwind or explore, this serene retreat is the perfect base for your North Fork adventure. Guests will find two cozy bedrooms, featuring one queen bed and one twin bed, perfect for a small group or family. The cool interior stays comfortable year-round with air conditioning and heating. A clean, well-kept bathroom adds convenience to your stay. We hope you'll enjoy your stay at our house.

This IS a terrific, modern, very private, and very comfortable top floor apartment in a private house. It is like being in an aerie with views of the tree tops from every window. Grace and Bill have a spectacular garden, with so many perennials and flowering trees in bloom during our stay. The bedrooms are nicely appointed with plenty of sheets and pillows; the queen bed was super comfortable, and the private deck was shaded every morning while we ate breakfast outside. The kitchen is small, but well appointed - fine for very light cooking, as there's only a two burner electric hotplate. Best for scrambled / fried eggs in the am. Perhaps that's the only drawback if you like the option of cooking while at an extended stay. Nearby Wildwood State Park has a nice beach on the Sound, and there are a ton of farm stands driving east towards the South Fork. All in all a very a really relaxing stay. :))
