This is a cute canal front cottage with a glimpse of Burt Lake. The canal is deep enough for a boat and there is dockage at the cabin. It is walkable to Devoe Beach and the restaurants, bars and shops of Indian River. We walked to Northland Brewing one evening. The back area is open with tables, lights, music and 3 food trucks. There is easy access to I75 and to other communities in the area.We found the cabin to be clean and well supplied with kitchen items, paper products, bath soaps, etc. We also pack these items and found we did not need them. The outside deck area is nice though we didn’t use it as the evenings were too cool. We contacted the host for a minor issue and got an immediate response. We spent 2 days on Burt, Crooked and Pickerel Lakes fishing with quite a nice catch. We lived in this area for several years and it was fun to see our previous neighbors and go to some of our favorite spots. We would definitely rent again.

Thank you so much for this lovely review. We're so glad you enjoyed the canal front setting with views of Burt Lake, and how convenient the location was for walking to Devoe Beach, Indian River's restaurants and shops, and that fun evening at Northland Brewing. It sounds like the dockage was perfect for your fishing adventures on Burt, Crooked, and Pickerel Lakes, and we're thrilled you had such a nice catch. We're also delighted the cabin was clean and well-stocked, and that our host was able to respond right away to your question. It must have been wonderful to reconnect with the area and your former neighbors. We'd absolutely love to welcome you back anytime. The VueStay Team
