This house is close by crooked river for kayaking , pontoon boating , Boaters , also close to crooked lake , burt lake , Douglas lake and Pickerel Lake. This house is centrally located in Alanson, close by Habor springs , Indian River , Mackinnaw city , Petoskey City
There is a bike path its only half mile away . winter fun close to Nub's Nob , Boyne Highland Ski area and snowmobile trail.
This home offers a furnished comfortable living area with sheets , blankets , towels and all utilitys included with cable and internet access WiFi Home comfortably sleeps six people. Kids will enjoy. House has all basic amenities.
Town of Alanson it has two different restaurants also there is chain restaurants are 12 miles away in the city of Petoskey with a Walmart and Meijer grocery.

Great Up North Getaway

This home is great for my family. We enjoy all the conveniences provided and having space to spread out. The kitchen is large and has ample space for family dinner. The pictures online are accurate and the house is very clean, you can see that the owner takes good care of it.

Great launchpad

We enjoyed our stay in this comfortable home close to golf, hiking and biking trails. Steve, the owner, was quick to respond to our inquiries, and to help when needed.

Great place to stay while visiting the Petoskey area

Very cute and clean. Everything you need for your stay is there. We all were very happy with our stay and plan on coming back when we are in the area.

Great central location.

We were travelling on a motorcycle so we have to pack light. All paper products and basic soaps were there so we just need some breakfast and snack items which we can carry in the bike. We also made use of the firewood and firepit in the evenings. Very nice.

We had a wonderful stay. Very clean and perfect space for what we needed. Love that Mackinac , Petoskey , Harbor Springs are 20-30 minutes from property. The only downfall I would say is the 1 bathroom. Otherwise everything great! Loved the awning as it was very rainy ! We want to invest in one for our home!

A clean home with all the amenities in a perfect location

My dad and I spent a week fishing in N. Michigan and stayed at this nice property. The kitchen has everything you need to make meals along with a grill on the deck. The house was very clean, the beds were comfortable and the location was perfect for visiting the many bodies of water nearby. Really liked the convenience of the circle drive and exterior outlet to charge the trolling motor batteries on the boat every night. Two restaurants a short drive worth mentioning are the Northwoods- great steak and friendly service and a few miles to the east is Vivio's for Italian food and homemade pizza. I can't say enough about this beautiful area. From the lush green pastures and forests to the clear, Caribbean- like waters (looks wise, definitely not temperature wise!), to the way people seem to take pride in their homes and communities. Hope to return again.

Wonderfully beautiful home

I was relocating up north and the house is perfectly located for everything I wanted to do. It was spacious and very comfortable! Steve was a great host and very communicative. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Solid Basic Accommodations

Located 20 minutes from the slopes and Petoskey, this home has all you need for a good family stay. There are lots of utensils in the kitchen if you want to cook, but bring a sharp knife, a colander, and a steam basket if you need these items. The wifi and TV works fine (I brought my own Roku) and one of the couches is quite nice. The loveseat could use some...uh...love. The cushions are like a flat tire. The bathroom works well, but there's not much counter surface to put your stuff on. The soap dispenser on the wall is a hygienic convenience, but the product it dispenses would probably not be your first choice for washing your hair or body. Finally, the bed. I slept in the king bed, and it was comfortable. There is the beginning of a divot in the sweet spot, but not enough to bother this side-sleeper. The shades work great at blocking out the light, so feel free to sleep in. Steven is a responsive host, and all of our expectations were met.

Perfect Cozy Home

This home is a great place to stay and enjoy all of the things to do in this region. It is conveniently located near ski resorts, Petoskey and many other things. The home is well cared for, quiet and clean with lots of amenities to help your stay be very enjoyable.

Great family home

Ski Trip

Great Place. Is as pictured and actually more spacious inside than you may think. Came to ski (late December) and got some in though there was no actual snow but on the mountain. A great part of the property is the short drive to petosky, nubs nob and harbor springs. Did all those things. Hosts were great and attentive as well.

Comfortable and spacious

We had a lovely stay! The house was well-stocked. The bed was very comfortable. We slept soundly each night. The neighborhood was very quiet. The owner was easy to communicate with and quick to respond to a request. We enjoyed the location. We like to kayak and the house is situated near the inland waterways. It was about a 15 minute drive to Petoskey. Mackinaw is about 30 minutes drive. One of the best parts about the location was being in walking distance of a fantastic bakery that we took advantage of most mornings. I would definitely recommend this property!

Great property and location

We have stayed here multiple times and look forward to our next stay. Walking distance to Alanson businesses and local boat launches at multiple lakes. The house updates since our previous stay are really nice. The communication the property owner (Steve) was very prompt. Highly recommend this property.
