This was a wonderful place to stay. Very clean, comfortable beds, and well stocked kitchen. Views from the balcony are beautiful, including sunsets. The description is accurate, except the walking distance to the Crystal River. I do not recommend this condo if you want to access the Homestead beach. We messaged the host and asked how far and difficult walking to the beach would be. We were told it was a "short walk down from the hillside toward the shoreline. It’s still quite close, generally around 5–10 minutes depending on your pace...The walk itself isn’t very long, but since the property sits on a ridge overlooking the lake, there are some stairs and a bit of an incline/decline involved." The walk is actually just shy of one mile. The condo is not just on a hill, it is on a bluff with a very steep hill. There is parking close to the beach, but you need a parking pass which Homestead would not provide because we did not book through them. Otherwise, the condo was great and we recommend it.
