We had a great time and the rental accommodated us well. The hosts were very responsive. We loved being able to ride our bikes to the trail and beyond.

Great location near downtown Empire and close to sleeping bear dunes. House was overall clean and had what we needed to cook some basic meals. There was a maintenance issue with the basement and some slight water in an area, but that was communicated to us ahead of time and really did not affect our stay as we had no reason to be in the basement other than to use the dryer for beach towels. Only complaint was the TV did not work – not sure if the cable was out, but no instructions and we got nothing. Not a big deal as we had plenty to do. Upgrading a couple TV’s and this place would be even better.

Less than 24 hours before check in, on the way to Michigan from South Carolina, we get an email stating that the house is flooded. They have our phone number, I would think the proper way to handle this situation would be to call.I call the available number and get someone from 1/2 way across the world, I explain the problem.They don't give an immediate solution, they say they will pass this along to they support team.After not hearing anything back for 3 hours, we call again. Tell them we can't wait any longer, if they don't have an immediate solution give us a full refund.we found a hotel.We haven't seen a refund yet, but they said it's coming.
