"Cottage Pisces, It's all about the water!"

Hi Krystle, I was just reading through your review, and I wanted to be sure that the booking site was accurate. You mentioned that the picture shows all the cottages, I just looked and it's only the picture of Cottage Pisces number one. You also mentioned something about the address, I looked that up as well, it has the address and #1, this would have been given to you after you booked the unit. I am sorry about your confusion of where the cottage was located in the resort, it was my assumption that the photograph of the front of it, the number on the building, the number in the address, and the name Cottage Pisces right on the front would have been enough. I will do better in the future to make sure people are aware of exactly where the unit is. Thanks again for staying at Cottage Pisces!

Melody, thank you so much for choosing our little cottage. Beth and I rented this place back in 2019 and fell in love with the location as well. When the owners decided they wanted to sell, we made an offer and bought it. We made huge improvements and changes since those days. We wanted to make it feel like home for anybody that stays here, to provide the amenities that you would expect in a high end resort. It was all about the little details that we wanted to share with our guests. We know it's not that big. But for a family, it can bring everyone closer. That was always our goal. To create a place where memories are made, memories that will last a lifetime. Beth and I hope that you and your family created some new memories. And we want you to know that you are always welcome back here. In fact, we have many families that return every year, and for them, we give them first choice of the dates they want to come back every summer. I will offer that to you as well. Beth and I are truly humbled by guests like yourself, our door is always open, we hope to see you again in the future. Enjoy the rest of your year and the holidays to come. Rick and Beth

Adam, thanks again for staying at our cottage. We are happy you enjoyed your time there and we look forward to welcoming you back anytime. Come back mid-summer and enjoy the beach, the lakes, the dunes, kayaking and much much more! Rick and Beth

Hi Bryan! Thanks for staying at Cottage Pisces, I'm glad you like the place and found it convenient to multiple attractions in the area, location is everything! As for your comment regarding that it seemed expensive for what you get I did a little research. Just up the road in Beulah, 15 minutes away from the Cottage, is a Baymont inn. Right now for a room with two queen beds is $197 a night. All you get is a hotel room with two beds and a bathroom. You don't get a view, you don't get access to a sandy beach, you don't have your own private deck, you don't have access to a playground, a fire pit with free wood, or your own picnic area with barbecue. At Cottage Pisces you get you get all of these things and two bedrooms, it sleeps six people, you get a living room, and a full kitchen. You also get a beautiful deck, and a one minute walk to a private sandy beach on beautiful clean and clear Platte Lake. And you only paid about $35 more a night for Cottage Pisces. That sounds like a great value! We would love to have you back anytime, maybe next time you can stay more than just two nights to truly take advantage of all there is to offer from Cottage Pisces! Rick

It was a joy to have you on your one year anniversary! We are so happy you had a terrific time, and would love to have you back anytime you want. Beth and I appreciate when a guest like you treats our cottage like a home. We hope to see you again in the upcoming years. Our very best to you both! Rick and Beth

So happy that you chose our cottage to spend some time. You left the place looking great, you have no idea how much we appreciate that! Sorry about the weather, northern Michigan weather is about as predictable as the stock market. Glad you made the best of it! You are welcome back anytime, if you want to come back next year, we will give you early access to the schedule before it goes public. Enjoy the rest of your summer!

Hi Joe! Beth and I are so happy that your family had a wonderful time. It makes our hearts smile to know that you were able to have that many activities during your stay! The location of the cottage is right in the middle of everything, and there is something for everyone to do. The most important thing is that you went home with memories that will last a lifetime. Please come back and stay again in the near future, you're always welcome here!

Thank you Ed! We are happy you enjoyed it so much, we consider it our little slice of heaven. And thank you for the suggestions, we plan to put a small foot pan on the porch to wash off those sandy feet, and a brush as well! Good ideas! We have always felt that Cottage Pisces has not only a great lake and beach, but as you pointed out, it is really close to everything! You are welcome to come back anytime you like, thanks for treating it just like you would your own home. Enjoy the rest of your summer! Rick and Beth
