Great stay!

We had a 25 year college reunion weekend that was delightful, cozy and welcoming here! Many fun opportunities nearby, but also able to just sit and relax together in the deck or in the living room.

Great stay!

House was perfect for three couples over a long weekend. Bedrooms were big enough, master was HUGE! Dining room table fit us nicely for meals/games. Fully stocked kitchen and multiple coffee makers was a nice touch. Large yard for games. We did not use the hot tub as it was very hot during our stay. Would def book again.

Good experience

We’ve stayed in this house twice. It works well for two families with kids. It’s clean, has everything you need from towels to dishwasher and laundry pods, to kitchen stuff. Four stars just because in some places the house is a little tired and could probably use a refresh but that would not stop me from staying again.

Outstanding home in one of the most beautiful locations we have ever visited

- really good backyard - nice and close to quaint town and easy drive to New Buffalo and Warren Dunes state park - very comfortable sleeping and hanging out arrangement with great furniture - love the hot tub - scenery being next door to a farm was a nice bonus and being 1 mile from the Journeyman distillery was such a plus. Three Oaks is awesome and we look forward to coming back in the fall to se the foliage and visit wineries. A very well maintained home. These owners created a memorable experience for our first time to Lake Michigan and we were sad to leave. The home is beautiful and worth the price. We found the drive to the beach super easy and next time will be sure to visit Froehlichs for breakfast.

Highly recommend

The only reason I gave it 4 stars is that we had some challenges with the air conditioning but it was fixed within 24 hours. The house is great and was very comfortable for the 8 of us. Very clean and had everything we needed. The location is great. It is easy access to many places and out of the craziness of New Buffalo.! The town of 3 Oaks is minutes away and we really enjoyed it. You are truly in the countryside at the house. Big back yard could and play lots of games out there! The road in the front is busy but we still enjoyed the front porch swing ! when we arrived which took a lot of texting back and forth until around 4 the day after we arrived to get the air conditioning fixed. Lucky there were some fans in the house. . Luckily it was dirty filters so an easy fix. I would just suggest you check those more often and save yourself the headache. Lots of beach towels which was great. We were only given one bath towel per person because they said we had a washing machine and could wash them. It would have been nice to have a few extras. we ended up using beach towels for bath towels which worked fine. Used the grill and it was great too. We would definitely use your house again. ! Thanks !

Thank you so much for your thoughtful and detailed feedback, Grace! We're glad to hear that, despite the initial air conditioning challenge, it was resolved quickly and that you found the house comfortable and well-equipped for your group. It sounds like you really made the most of the beautiful countryside setting and enjoyed the nearby town of 3 Oaks. We appreciate your suggestion about checking the air filters more regularly. We'll be sure to pass that along to our local team to help prevent any future issues. Also, thank you for sharing your experience with the towels; we understand how having a few extra bath towels would have been helpful, and we'll make sure this feedback is shared as well. It’s wonderful to hear you enjoyed the grill and the front porch swing, too! We’d be delighted to host you and your group again anytime. Thanks again for choosing Vacasa and for taking the time to share your experience.
