Inside, the wood-lined living room offers a serene spot to settle down and tune into your favorite shows. The adjacent full kitchen has been fully updated and features granite countertops, a full suite of appliances, and a center island. The cottage's private washer/dryer and soft linens ensure that your every need is met.

When exploring Castine and beyond, check out Fort Knox and Penobscot Narrows Observatory, Holbrook Island Sanctuary, Fort Point State Park, and the Hermon Mountain Ski Area.

Cozy and charming

Cute, Cozy Cabin Along the Lake

Cute, cozy cabin along the lake! It was a perfect way to celebrate my first wedding anniversary. Easy access to downtown Greenville and to the two state parks nearby, Lily Bay and Mt. Kineo. Would love to come back some day!

Lobster tail cottage

Loved the setting. It was very quiet. Left all the windows open all night. The house did smell very musty when we arrived. Like it hadn't been opened up for some time.

Hi Jocelyn, thank you for your feedback and for sharing your experience. This is an older home that has a full-time running dehumidifier in the basement. The homeowner does everything possible to minimize any musty smells, but sometimes, with older homes, there are limits to what can be done. We appreciate your understanding and are glad you enjoyed the quiet setting.
