Historic cultural sites like Fort William Henry and the Colonial Pemaquid State Historic Site are just over a mile away. The Rachel Carson Preserve is within a three-mile drive and the Pemaquid Point Lighthouse is four miles away. Damariscotta-Newcastle is 13.7 miles away. At home, ocean views abound whether you're spending time out on the furnished deck or relaxing in the sunny living area. The full kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need to plan and prepare home-cooked meals.

Great time in Maine

The cottage had all of the essentials but nothing more. Location has great views & quiet & not too far from any of the restaurants we went to. Although it served its purpose the house is in need of some updates.

Great View

Very comfortable house, well stocked with linens and kitchen accessories. Cute little area off the living room with a children’s table and chairs for kids to play. We really enjoyed the front patio and the great view of the water across the street. We would definitely come back and stay again. Also, the host, Vacasa, was extremely easy and accommodating when our original dates had to change because of a nor’easter that hit the area.

The mid coast location was perfect for exploring. The ocean view from the property is outstanding. The house itself is quite basic but adequate. Dining options are limited in the immediate area but we were on the go most of the time and planned for that. It would be helpful to have a guide to the TV and WiFi at the house
