"Spitzkuhner Alp" Vacation Rental<br><br>Located in a former farmhouse with a large meadow and garden, surrounded by fields in the Mecklenburg Lake District, our vacation rental is on the first floor under the roof and features a separate entrance. It’s the perfect place to relax and unwind. Watch deer and listen to the birds while you eat breakfast, then take a lovely bike ride around Lake Müritz, a trip to one of the many lakes, or a leisurely stroll through the Bollewick barn and the port town of Röbel—what more could you ask for?<br><br>And you should be able to sleep well here, because our experience from more than 15 years as sleep consultants at a specialty bedding store has gone into the selection of our guest beds and mattresses. Plus, it’s really very dark and quiet here at night, so nothing disturbs a restful sleep. <br><br>We renovated the apartment in 2023—we hope you like it.<br>Every room offers a fantastic view of nature; you’ll see beautiful sunsets and enjoy complete tranquility.<br><br>Despite the peaceful setting, there’s plenty to experience:<br>Nearby attractions include:<br>- Bollewick (3 km): Germany’s largest natural stone barn with bike rentals, a café, and a restaurant, plus a maze with a playground<br>- Vipperow (5 km): ostrich farm, canoe rentals, Müritz Fischer<br>- Röbel (7 km): Müritztherme with a new sauna, historic mill, observation deck on the church tower, marina and sailing harbor, swimming beaches, playgrounds, boat rentals, passenger boat tours, Müritz Fischer<br>- Rechlin (9 km): Aviation Museum, several harbors, airfield offering sightseeing flights over the lake district, large beach/dog beach, slide tower, entrance to Müritz National Park – Bolter Lock, canoe rentals<br>- Sewekow (13 km): Mini-golf, rock garden<br>- Malchow (26 km): Monkey Forest with summer toboggan run, swing bridge, Fleesensee with a new, free public beach, Malchow Monastery Art Museum, GDR Everyday Life Museum, ice rink (Germany’s largest artificial ice rink from May to October) <br>- Waren (30 km): Müritz National Park, Müritzeum, climbing forest, canoe and boat rentals, passenger boat tours, movie theater<br><br>Bicycle excursions into the national park or to the many lakes are definitely worth it. (You’re welcome to rent e-bikes in Bollewick)<br>Bicycles can also be taken aboard the Weiße Flotte steamboats, allowing you to disembark at any point and continue or return by bike.<br><br>Even a day trip to the Baltic Sea is possible in just over an hour by car.<br><br>A 24-hour fresh food vending machine at the farm, along with a café and restaurant in the barn in Bollewick (3 km away), and supermarkets and restaurants in Röbel (7 km away), offer a wide selection of regional products. <br><br>You’re also welcome to relax in our garden or on the large terrace. From time to time, there are 2–3 campers seeking peace and quiet on our large meadow, and you can exchange tips on day trips with them.
