With a background in hospitality and years as an Airbnb guest, I know what makes a stay feel seamless, comfortable, & memorable!

I’m a mom of two based in Ventura, and after falling in love with Big Bear, we created The Cubhouse as a cozy space designed with families (and little ones) in mind.

You can expect thoughtful touches, curated local recommendations, and quick, friendly communication from booking through check-out.

The Cubhouse is a modern, family-focused cabin designed for comfort, connection, and fun. With 3 bedrooms, a dedicated kids’ playroom (complete with built-in slide), and open living spaces, there’s room for everyone to relax and recharge.

The heart of the home is the spacious living area with vaulted ceilings and a cozy wood-burning stove — perfect for movie nights, games, and gathering together after a day in Big Bear.

The fully equipped kitchen and dining area make it easy to cook and share meals, while the private outdoor deck offers space to unwind, dine under the trees, or soak in the hot tub.

Sleeping arrangements:
• Primary bedroom – comfortable and quiet for restful nights with a King bed
• Additional bedroom – bright, cozy spaces for guests with King Bed and additional private entrance
• Bunk room/playroom – perfect for kids with toys and built-in slide
