Located in the heart of the Huron National Forest, this home is ideal for families who love the outdoors. Enjoy direct access to trails for hiking, ORV riding, and snowmobiling right nearby. Just a short drive away, spend the day kayaking or tubing on the famous Au Sable River, exploring scenic spots like Iargo Springs, or visiting the sandy beaches of Lake Huron.

The house and property were outstanding and breathtaking. The host, Chris and Sue were very responsive through the messaging app. Enthusiastically recommended and if I’m ever back the area, will definitely seek this out again!

We stayed here on 2 separate occasions and both times we had fantastic stays! Christopher was so easy to deal with, he always responded quickly and we had zero issues! Beautiful place to land!

Beautiful home and property, lots of amenities in the house. The big video game wasn’t working which was disappointing, but the other features like the fire pit, large tv, and comfy couches made up for it. We would definitely stay again!

We really enjoyed our stay at this rental. Having pretty much two houses in one rental was perfect for our family trip with 13 people. The place was nicely decorated, very clean, and well stocked with anything you could think of, especially the kitchen. Having two kitchens (one in the main house, and one in the bunk house) was perfect for a large group. The main house is larger than we expected. We spent most of our time in the "game room", but there is also a sunroom, a living room off the kitchen, and a living room with a fireplace and dining table. The game room had a large dining table, comfortable couches, a large smart TV, a video game setup, and a mini fridge for drinks. There is also a sliding glass door leading out to a patio with lots of seating. The bunk house is on the second floor of the shed, but once up there, you would think you are in a normal house. It was very comfortable. It has a fully stocked kitchen, a bathroom, two bedrooms, a living room with a smart TV, and a dining table. The outside area was nice. There is a large fire pit with seating around it and lots of room for parking. We saw deer in the morning, and many chipmunks and rabbits. This place is kinda in the middle of nowhere. But sometimes, that's the whole idea. So peaceful and quiet. There is a gas station just down the road. Cell service here is not so good, but the WIFI was good, except in the back two bedrooms of the main house. We would definetly stay here again.

The house is very spacious, clean, and secluded. The host was quick to respond to questions. The kitchen and bathrooms were really well stocked. We were traveling from out-of-state for a family event. After seeing how big the house was we actually hosted part of the get together here! There were 5 kids and 16 adults for an afternoon and we were able to grill and hang out comfortably.
